Coffee and Cinnamon Body Scrub – Do It Yourself
Hello Ladies!
Hope you all are doing well. All these years since I started working, I have been ignoring to take care of my hair and skin to a great extent, but after I have started experiencing the ill effects, I am hell bent upon getting back my soft and supple skin. With scheduled visits to the spa on an occasional basis, I am mostly taking care of my skin with all sorts of homemade concoctions. The ingredients for these are easily available and they are very effective. I have already shared a few hair care regimens with you all that I follow. Now, I will be sharing with you a few skin and body care recipes in the next few posts. Today’s DIY is about a luscious coffee, cinnamon and almond oil body scrub. So, enjoy healthy 🙂
Ingredients Required:
(I am making it in a small proportion, you can increase the proportion and store the scrub for later use).
- 3 tbsp sugar.
- 3 tbsp coffee powder.
- 1 small tbsp cinnamon powder.
- 2 tbsp almond oil (or any body oil of your choice).
Procedure:
Step 1:
Mix the dry ingredients (coffee, cinnamon and sugar) in a bowl.
Step 2:
Whisk it with a spoon to mix it completely.
Step 3:
Add the almond oil and mix it. You can add more oil if you want a more oily scrub for the winters. It’s totally your choice.
Step 4:
This is the consistency I like to use.
Use the scrub while bathing. Scrub it all over your skin in circular motions and then take a warm bath to wash it off. It will leave your skin visibly supple with a fragrant smell. The mixture will exfoliate your skin and the oil will provide it a hydrating effect. With the mild aroma of the coffee and the cinnamon, you will definitely love it.
You can store the remaining mixture in an air tight jar for upto 2 weeks.
Hope you like it and try it. Until next time, cya!!

Haan Haan sure.. I would be more than happy to answer. 😀 how you doing Jomo..? I have like 10s of reviews and DIYs lined up.. and guess what.. I didn’t shop any make up stuff from Mumbai. Nothing at all. I stood tall at my words 😀
Wish there was a like button on IMBB like facebook.. You surely deserve some likes here..

Surabhi…..what…..you didn’t shop any makeup stuff from Mumbai……thinking about some corporal punishment for you 🙂

I am doing fine.. Now that you are free from your Mumbai Trip.. I’ll call you asap.. 🙂
