Freeman Pink Grapefruit Facial Exfoliating Scrub

Hi Lovelies,

I am back with another review from the brand “Freeman.” This time it is not a face mask as usual but a facial scrub. My friend Ali bought this for me from the US as part of a haul I requested. This is a travel size/trial version of the facial exfoliating scrub with pink grapefruit. Since I was quite pleased more or less with the face masks from this brand, I was quite excited to try out this facial scrub.

Freeman Pink Grapefruit Facial Exfoliating Scrub

Product Description:

Let’s take it to go!!! Perfect size to take to the gym, on airplanes or drop in your purse! Smells so yummy you’ll want to eat! This non-abrasive scrub gently resurfaces skin as it deeply cleanses and sloughs away dull dead cells to promote healthy cell renewal. Perfect for all skin types.

Price:

USD 1.99

My Experience with Freeman Pink Grapefruit Facial Exfoliating Scrub:

This sachet can also be split in half; the top part is only a coupon. The product however is contained in the lower half of the sachet. Since it is a facial scrub and not a mask, it can be used at least four times on the face and neck. The product is of gel consistency with exfoliating granules, neither too thick nor runny. I prefer this kind of a base over very coarse scrubs, since it is more kind to the skin. Also, the granules are not too dense, so if you are after very good exfoliation, this product is not for you. The product is of a cute light pink colour. The fragrance is so cool and lovable, just like grapefruit. The only product I have used so far with a grapefruit fragrance is the Neutrogena Clear Facial Cleansing Gel.

After using this on my wet face and exfoliating, my skin felt smooth, just like after using any other face scrub. Dead skin was washed away and my skin felt renewed, it was brighter and clearer, but the best part is that it is extremely gentle on skin, so I feel it is good for winter since skin will be quite dry and sensitive during winter. This will also be totally apt for ladies with sensitive skin because it is so gentle. This product lathers well but does not contain sulphates.  Even though most Freeman products contain parabens, this product does not contain parabens either.

Pros of Freeman Pink Grapefruit Facial Exfoliating Scrub:

  • Has a gel consistency, so it is very gentle on the skin.
  • Does not irritate or dry up the skin.
  • Good for everyday use.
  • Smells lovely and looks cute.
  • Contains grapefruit extract, coconut oil and aloe vera extract.
  • This sachet is $1.99 USD, but the big tube costs only $3.99, so this is a value buy.
  • Not tested on animals.

Cons of Freeman Pink Grapefruit Facial Exfoliating Scrub:

  • Not useful if you are looking for a coarse face scrub.
  • Not available in Australia.

IMBB Rating:

3.5/5.  There aren’t any major disadvantages of using this, but nothing special either. It works well just like any other exfoliant with a gel base.

Will I Repurchase Freeman Pink Grapefruit Facial Exfoliating Scrub?

This scrub is not available in Australia. I am not overly impressed and see nothing too special to try hard to get this product from abroad, but give it a try if you are after a gentle facial scrub at a very reasonable price.

which scrub you using Jomol? I ordered the Shahnaz Hussain one today – the chocolate scrub since I liked the chocolate face mask for my combination skin….
