My Experience with La Roche Posay Effaclar Anti-Acne Starter Kit:
Acne is one of the common problems faced by women and each one of us have had come across this hurdle at least once in our life. I have suffered from acne during my college days; now, thankfully it is under control. But, I still suffer from acne scars and a few pimples here and there. I have tried a lot of products to get clear skin. After hearing a lot of good reviews about the Acne-treating products from La Roche Posay, I decided to try their Effaclar Anti-Acne Starter Kit, which contains two of their famous products for treating acne, excess oil secretion and acne scars.
La Roche-Posay, a French skincare company, has an Effaclar line of skin care products which is specially formulated to treat acne-prone skin. Many of the products in this line contain ingredients that help in treating a lot of acne related issues.
This kit contains two products; they are the Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel and the Effaclar Duo [+] cream. As this is a starter kit, the quantity of these products will last for about two weeks when used twice a day.
Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel:
The Foaming Gel comes in a white tube with a blue flip cap. You have to squeeze the tube to dispense the product. The product does not have any colour and has a consistency in between liquid and gel. It has a mild and fresh fragrance.
I usually take a little amount of the gel, dampen my face and massage it gently. It lathers quite nicely. I leave it on the face for about a minute when I use this during the night time. It thoroughly cleanses the face, removing the dirt and grime without drying out the face. After I have used this, I see that the excessive oil secretion has reduced significantly.
The Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel is a paraben, soap, colorant, and alcohol-free gel cleanser that promises to purify the skin, balance its pH and controls oil without drying out the skin. The cleanser has a pH level of 5.5 which proves that it is gentle on your skin.
I would highly recommend this product. I noticed a significant difference in the appearance of my skin. My skin was less oily throughout the day and my pores looked minimised and clean. It’s very gentle yet very powerful.
Effaclar Duo [+]:
Effacular Duo [+] is a popular acne treatment cream from this brand. It is mainly used to correct the appearance of blemishes, unclog the clogged pores. It also helps to refine your skin’s texture, control the appearance of oily shine and also fights against the appearance of acne marks. It has been already reviewed in IMBB. This is a great cream, it has helped to lighten my acne scars and made my skin feel and look great.
Overall, this is a wonderful kit. I totally loved the products and I am going to buy their full size. This is a great starter kit for people suffering from acne and acne scars.
