I am thrilled to reviews this pencil today, I believe it is a new release this year and two weeks or so back I found this at Shopper’s stop and they had three shades, I picked up blue and black and I think she had a brown too, I am not sure. The most exciting part of the brightening side of the liner, which we all need and are looking for this white eye liner for the waterline eternally which is soft enough and the right white and this one is a duo, with a black and white, the blue one has a creamy white and blue to it, any way take a look at this black, carbon Cleopatra one 😛
The pencil comes simply packed and I think for an introductory price, they have released it a decent price for us to try out. The pencil might appear little since you only have half a color on each side, but still the ease of having a white liner for waterline to brighten your eyes and to make your eyes look bigger, I mean I am impressed.
Coming to the black, the kajal side is jet black and I would not say it is very creamy but yes it is good enough, it is smooth on the lashline, does not tug and in small strokes you can get a good black line and it is very black for me. It is a good black kajal, and I have not used it on the waterline since I wanted to use the white but I am sure you can use it on the waterline too. The black does not set or anything, it can pretty much smudge but I think it is not that bad either.
The white is a soft white and it really shows up very well on the waterline, not at all harsh to use or to look at, use it lightly and dont let it get in between the lashes and then use your black to line how you like. The best part about this white is that the white can be use under the brows too, and I am happy to use it under the brow line, and then smudge it, like some artists use the concealer to make the brows sharp and neat and to help with the shape, the SA told me to use the white under the brows too and it works perfectly, on the waterline and the under the brows, perfect!
now that you know the liners are soft and good enough for your lash line and waterline, let me come to the staying power, the staying power is good I would say, most liners smudge and transfer above on my oily lids, and the waterline’s white liner barely shows, but this one in white stayed on my waterline for two hours and then too it showed up as a little white, and did not look bad after receding into the lashes. The black stayed on for 4+hours without transferring, after 4 hours I could see little transfer and smudging but not that bad, its humid here, we took my daughter to the park, I took a stroll an this is what it looked like, not bad at all.In an aircon environs, this would serve you for 5 hours or so I suppose and dry lids can get even better but the white liner would serve you 3 hours max.
Overall i am happy with this one, love the white part as well, and super liner for the cost and ease of having this dual sided liner is unbeatable, recommended!
IMBB Rating:
4.3/5 It is not the best or the creamiest but somehow the combo works well for me 🙂
