My Experience with Balea Dream Petal Body Lotion:

The packaging is typical to all Balea body lotions. It comes in a tall plastic container with a flap lid. The overall color is dark pink with hints of white. This color combination gives more of a spring feel to the packaging. The packaging holds 400 ml of the product, which is quite a lot. Hence, this bottle is not suitable for short vacations. It takes a little more space than smaller lotions, especially when you have small bags to travel with. The lotion can be easily squeezed out of the bottle. So, it can easily be handled by all age groups.

The consistency of the product is pretty thick. It feels slightly greasy on the skin when applied. It also leaves a white cast on the skin which I hate. Due to this, I have to massage it a lot to reduce the white cast. But the greasy feeling remains even after I massage the product into my skin. I also believe that my clothes get soiled with the greasy product. So it’s an absolute no-no for me. The product looks white in color. The fragrance is great. It has a powdery floral scent. It’s a very pleasant fragrance and everyone would love it. The fragrance does not last long, though.

The lotion moisturizes the skin but this kind of moisturisation is not sufficient for autumn and winter. I would suggest using this product only during spring or summer when the skin does not feel very dry. But still, you might have to encounter the greasiness of this lotion. Overall, I am not very impressed with the results. I would not even suggest anyone buy it. There are much better products from Balea itself which are nourishing and affordable both.

Pros of Balea Dream Petal Body Lotion:

• Non-sticky
• Pleasant powdery scent
• Moisturises the skin well
• Sturdy packaging
• Suitable for spring and summer

Cons of Balea Dream Petal Body Lotion:

• Does not get easily absorbed
• Leaves a white cast on the skin
• Not suitable for colder months
• Not suitable for dry skin

IMBB Rating: 3/5
