Honey not only absolves your hair loss issues but removes dandruff from your scalp as well. To benefit from honey’s goodness, take it in your teas instead of sugar or you can even use it as a hair pack for shiny and smooth hair.

2. Salmon:

Salmon is a type of fatty fish that is good for your brain cells, blood vessels, skin and your hair too. It is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids that promote hair growth and tackles hair fall. It also contains protein which is very important for good hair.

3. Nuts:

Most nuts are rich in proteins and a variety of anti-oxidants that fight free radicals in your body and keep your hair healthy and alive. Nuts are also rich in ferritin, whose deficiency is a number one culprit for hair fall issues.

4. Spinach:

Spinach is rich in Vitamins B, C and E, Potassium, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium and Omega-3 fatty acids, all of which are required for healthy hair growth. The rich iron content in spinach helps the red blood cells carry oxygen to your hair follicles which help in fighting against hair loss and makes way for Rapunzel-like tresses.

5. Oysters:

Zinc is an important mineral when it comes to your hair, and its deficiency can make your hair shed. Being rich in zinc, oysters make an excellent choice for people suffering from hair loss issues. Along with oysters, crabs, wheat germ, and peanut butter are also rich in zinc.

6. Oils with Good Fatty Acids:

Along with applying oils rich in good fatty acids, you can also use them in place of your ordinary cooking oils to reap their benefits fast. Some of the best oils which lead to good hair and can be used in cooking are coconut oil and olive oil.

7. Seaweed:

Seaweed contains many necessary Vitamins and Minerals needed for good hair growth. Omega 3 fatty acids present in Seaweed helps in stimulating hair growth and supply the required iron and zinc as well. Apart from hair fall, Seaweed treats premature graying hair and hair thinning issues too.

8. Carrots:

Carrots are rich in Vitamin A, the deficiency of which leads to dull, dry and damaged hair locks and also causes your hair to shed like crazy. Carrots also lead to a healthy sebum production in your scalp which keeps your hair naturally nourished and keeps dandruff at bay.

9. Sweet Potatoes:

Sweet potatoes are rich in beta-carotene which is converted to Vitamin A in our bodies, necessary for our skin, hair, and nails. However, be aware that even too much of vitamin A can lead to hair fall. Keep things in moderation for good hair.

The milk and eggs present in your kitchen and in the fridge are rich in proteins which help in nourishing and protecting your scalp against hair fall and a variety of other hair-related problems. You can use these two magic ingredients in your meals or even make a pack with these two and apply for half an hour, twice a week.

11. Oats:

Malnutrition is a number one reason for poor hair growth and hair loss. Oats, being rich in Zinc, Vitamin C, and other essential nutrients make for an excellent breakfast choice if you want to improve your hair density and texture.
