My Take on Dr. Jart+ Water Drop Hydrating Moisturizer:
I have no complaints with the packaging except for the grouse that it’s way too difficult to photograph the silver grey and reflective tube. Dr. Jart+ Water Drop Hydrating Moisturizer comes in a soft squeezable tube. Everything has its pros and cons – where the tube packaging makes the moisturizer hygienic but then it is difficult to utilize the last portions of the product from a tube packaging.
Dr. Jart+ Water Drop Hydrating Moisturizer has a gel-like consistency. When blended, it immediately melts down with a soothing, cooling and watery feel. Dr. Jart+ Water Drop Hydrating Moisturizer completely lives up to the claims of hydrating moisturizer and is rightly named as “Water Drop.” The feeling is just like applying some modified water to skin. It gets absorbed fast leaving behind no greasy feel on the skin; makes skin soft, hydrated and supple without making it oily. Even after hours of application, I can’t trace down oil on my t-zone. This moisturizer is mildly scented and pleasant to sniff for a while.
Dr. Jart+ Water Drop Hydrating Moisturizer is suitable for every type of skin – dry, normal, sensitive or oily. It will take away dryness instantly but won’t make oily skin an oil tank, does not cause breakouts or irritate sensitive skin type. In my opinion, Dr. Jart+ has formulated one perfect moisturiser for every skin type. However, it might fail to serve extremely dry skin in winter season or harsh weather. I love how it makes my skin baby soft and replenishes it overnight. In the morning, it makes my skin a smooth canvas for morning makeup routine and I can skip the primer. However, you need to carry on with your regular sunscreen as it contains no SPF. Dr. Jart+ Water Drop Hydrating Moisturizer is free from harmful chemicals.
