Today, I am reviewing the Faces Canada Sheer Radiance Liquid Foundation in Ivory. I bought this foundation online & it is lighter than my skin tone which I bought purposely.

For those preferring a light, matte-look formula. FACES Sheer Radiance Liquid Foundation blends uniformly and covers flawlessly over facial skin. It leaves a soft and velvet-like finish uniformly on skin and works as a sunscreen agent, antioxidant and skin-conditioning agent. Ideal for light to medium coverage.
Price: Rs. 299 for 30 ml
Packaging: It comes in a square shaped glass bottle with a large black cap. The mouth is quite narrow for controlled usage of the foundation.

My Experience with Faces Canada Sheer Radiance Liquid Foundation in Ivory:
Faces Canada Sheer Radiance Liquid Foundation is available in total 5 different variants – Gold, Ivory, Natural, Beige & Rose. I was on a lookout for a foundation which is slightly lighter than my skin tone as I happened to have a foundation which was on the darker side. I wanted to mix both the shade, to make it my skin appropriate. Well, I did achieve what I was aiming for – a perfect foundation shade for my liking. (My views are based on Faces foundation only and not on the mixture of foundation I create.)
The texture of Sheer Radiance Liquid Foundation is smooth but not extremely creamy. It settles on the skin quickly and needs to be worked fast. It dries out even before it can be applied evenly onto the skin. After few hours, it starts to crease and settle within the lines on the skin and looks horrible. The consistency is not right either, it takes effort to get the foundation out of the bottle; it is very thick.
I have a combination skin & I moisturize my skin well too & regardless of doing this step the foundation gives the chalky effect and it literary comes off. It claims of light to medium coverage but since it doesn’t last on the face long enough forget about the coverage. It looks so bad that you just want to take it off.

1. Inconvenient packaging makes it difficult to get the foundation out.
2. Thick consistency
3. Texture is not smooth
4. Doesn’t help in any kind of coverage
5. Does not last longer on the skin
6. Makes the skin appearance extremely chalky after few hours

sound horrible, but the good thing is that you could create a custom shade for yourself… I wouldnt call it too bad then. many out there can benefit from using this as a base to lighten the darker foundations which we pick up due to bad store lighting or through online shopping 🙂
