Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Shampoo

Whenever I go out to buy a particular product that I have been thinking about ages, I end up getting something else, always ! This is how I got this shampoo.  I actually went to buy the ‘hello hydration’ range from this brand, but it was not available, so I decided to get this one.  I liked the colour plus the ‘beautiful ends’ claim completely impressed me.

My Experience with Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Shampoo:

At first sight, it looked like those Sunsilk shampoos and all the expectations went down the drain.  Still, I thought of giving this shampoo a chance.  Its pink coloured and creamy.  I dilute it with water, which makes it easier to use.  It does contains some ‘cone’-y stuff, but I couldn’t find any parabens listed in the ingredients.

From the first time I used this shampoo, I have been in love it.  It made my hair look so healthy without weighing it down even a bit.  The smell is nice, but not overpowering at all.  It disappears after I come out of the shower.  Though, there is one thing I discovered, it cannot take the oil out of my hair in just one wash, I HAVE to wash twice, but after washing, my hair is so soft, I cannot stop touching it!

When I started using this shampoo, my hair was really damaged and I am so happy it made my hair manageable.  It made my frayed ends look less frayed.  I know the best way to get healthy hair is to get regular hair cuts, but I don’t like losing the length of my hair.  I like my hair long:D

Now coming to the pros and cons:

Pros of  Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Shampoo:

• Makes my hair soft and healthy.
• Definitely does something “good” for my hair ends.
• Washes off pretty easily.
• The fragrance is nice and not too strong.
• 400 ml for 160 INR is a prettyyy good bargain!

Cons of Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Shampoo:

• It has to be used twice if you have oiled your hair.
• About the “split end protection” claim, it couldn’t really do anything about that.
• Availability can definitely be a problem, I only see these shampoos at a few selected shops.

Would I Recommend It?
YES ! I wouldn’t say it made my hair ends “beautiful,” but it definitely made it less frayed and more manageable and I think I am going to try the hair mask from this range too!

My Rating:
3.5/5.
