Hip Hop Twister Nail Polish Remover Sponge Review

Hi ladies!

Hope you all are in the pink of health and spirits. Today I am reviewing Hip Hop Twister Nail Polish Remover Sponge which I had purchased along with Hip Hop Lipo Wax Facial Wax Strips. Nail polish remover sponges are very ‘in’, but it was first launched in Indian market by Colorbar, which still remains a long standing favorite. Read on to know my views about this Hip Hop one.

Hip Hop Twister Nail Polish Remover Sponge Review

INR 175

Product Description:
Hip hop Twister Nail Polish Remover with Sponge with flip cap is quick & easy way to remove nail polish in no time while conditioning the cuticle. The formula is Acetone- free, contains vitamin E and will not dry or damage your nails. It effectively removes nail polish in seconds without any mess. Perfect for travel.

It comes in a small, cute, black and red tub, which reminds my family members of Cherry Blossom shoe polish. The red cap is screw open, along with flip open-providing convenience of using the one you are comfortable with. All the product details are printed on the body of the remover. Overall, a very travel friendly and handy packaging.

My Experience with Hip Hop Twister Nail Polish Remover Sponge:

The inner sponge is loaded with remover, but I personally don’t like the smell of the remover. Anyway, the remover works well on nail paints and polishes, removing them effectively within 2-3 turns. Older nail paints take longer, but do get removed properly. The good thing is that it doesn’t leave behind any stain.

It doesn’t feel drying at all; rather it is quite moisturizing and oily. This may be due to the presence of Citronella Oil, Lime Oil, Vitamin E, Glycerin and Castor Oil. I feel my nails get nourishment and I massage my nails after using this remover, and then wash off my hands. Most nail polish removers leave a whitish dry cast on nails, and this one is a welcome change. The oily residue makes my nail look shinier, and even after washing off I feel my cuticles & nails look quite healthy.

The remover is free of acetone, but has chemicals like alcohol derivatives which are kind of essential to dissolve nail paints. These organic solvents are less drying than acetone. Gel and glitter nail paints take ages to get removed, and since I wear them rarely I am okay with this aspect. Also, as expected, you can’t use this nail remover sponge to remove nail polish from your toe nails.

I find it perfect for using on-the-go, just dipping in your finger and twisting it seems such an easy thing. Plus, the price makes it a winner, because other sponge removers have a steeper price tag. Overall, I love it and would surely get another soon.

Pros of Hip Hop Twister Nail Polish Remover Sponge:

• Cute handy packaging
• Economical
• Moisturizing effect due to Vitamin E & glycerin
• Acetone free
• Removes regular nail polishes easily
• Doesn’t leave any stain

Cons of Hip Hop Twister Nail Polish Remover Sponge:

• Not suitable for toe nails
• Gel and glitter nail polishes take time to get removed
• Availability

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Hip Hop Twister Nail Polish Remover Sponge?
