Scrub is one of the most indispensable products in skin care routine, agree? I have used Himalaya and a few Oriflame scrubs.  This time, I thought of buying something from Khadi after seeing great results after using their face washes.  Let’s start with the review.

Packaging:

It comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a flip open cap. I love the bottle packaging better than tub ones. The cap shuts tightly; so no fear of spillage during travelling. The bottle has a simple description of the product, details of the ingredients, usage and effects as well. Overall packaging is very simple.

Ingredients:

Apricot seed oil, (prunus amreniaca), aloe leaf extract (aloe indica), walnut shell (juglans regia) ,saffron flower ( crocus sativus), cucumber juice ( cucumis sativus).

Product Description:

A gentle but very effective facial scrub that deeply cleanses skin and controls oil production. This purifying treatment tightens pores, helps eliminate oil, dirt, removes dead cells and prevents shine and results in clear and healthy skin.

My Take on Khadi Saffron and Cucumber Facial Scrub:

I love the texture of this scrub.  It’s cream based, almost thick lotion type, but not as thick as other face scrubs. The granules are small enough and would not harm the skin. Right now, I am getting a few pimples here and there, so I don’t prefer scrubs that have harsh granules.  So, this scrub is good for even sensitive and acne-prone skin.  It spreads easily and the granules help in proper exfoliation.  It has a mild fruity fragrance but nothing that will irritate sensitive noses.  I am totally in love with this scrub, it does what it says!! My skin feels squeaky clean without any sign of dryness/stretchiness.  I made my mom try this, she has super dry skin, but it didn’t dry her skin out. It’s mild enough to be used every day and with regular use, it removes blackheads.

After using this scrub, there is a healthy glow on my face similar to what you get after doing a facial which does remain for a long time.  In general, I love Khadi products and Khadi silver moon scrub didn’t disappoint me at all. It’s the best scrub I have ever used for my sensitive skin. The quantity we get is huge and one bottle is going to last for long. I always scrub my face with this one before I apply makeup as it gives me smooth and soft skin and a beautiful glow. I have seen a lot of improvement in my skin after using this scrub.  As I have oily skin, I get white/blackheads, especially on my nose, but after using this scrub, my nose is squeaky clean and gives a fresh feeling after a tiring day, also enhances complexion.

Pros of Khadi Saffron and Cucumber Facial Scrub:

• Herbal product.
• Can be used by sensitive skin.
• Would suit both oily and dry skin.
• Exf0liating granules are not at all harsh.
• Does pretty good job in keeping black/whiteheads at bay.
• Gives smooth and soft skin.
• One bottle will last for 2-3 months as only a little quantity is required for scrubbing.
• Reasonably priced.
• Flip cap bottle packaging.
• Khadi products are easily available at various online shopping sites.

Cons of Khadi Saffron and Cucumber Facial Scrub:

• No cons, I’m in absolute awe of this product.

A big YES!!! I’m going to keep buying this scrub throughout my life and would recommend it to everyone!
