I’ve come back to IMBB with a little week long break and I have missed you all dearly! I’ve had too much going on unfortunately so not much time to write reviews with coming back to work- but I’m getting around to it now slowly. I’ve got a fantastic product lined for you today and it is the perfect time to be talking about this since the summer is just around the corner. Everyone runs out of face wash pretty quick so you have absolutely no reason to not try out this beauty as soon as you possibly can! Let me know how you fare!

This L’Oreal face wash comes in a minty green topsy turvy plastic packaging with the flip top lid. This matches the colour of the face wash pretty well, this too is the similar minty green colour and the smell of this stuff is fantastic! It has a ‘pore tightening technology’ which will definitely do wonders for all types of skin especially oily skin, which is the type of skin L’Oreal is targeting with this face wash.

My experience with the L’Oreal Dermo-Expertise Hydrafresh Anti-Shine Fresh Purifying Icy Foam:

I actually bought this face wash kind of randomly when I was flying out of Singapore one time and have ended up repurchasing this thrice to the point where I am cutting into the plastic tube to scoop out with my finger what is remaining of the face wash, so I can use this up entirely! This is crazy I know, but this face wash is amazing!

The colour is a minty lime green and the face wash has a pearly consistency to it. It is also quite thick in consistency and does not slip and slide any where once you squeeze it on to your fingers. It smells really fresh and minty. You can smell the amazing fragrance of this when you lather it on and also after you wash it off! It is also pretty easy to lather, although if you have makeup on it does not lather at all at times. So the most interesting thing after using this is that your face feels a wonderful type of matte after you wash it. It is not the matte feeling you get when you apply a primer for oily skin, which is usually pumped with silicones. This is a very different clean and fresh feeling which you could only get from all the oil being removed from your face, which this face wash certainly does.

So even a few hours after use I did not have any oil production on my usually oily nose, which I was very happy about! Also my face demons, aka my pimples definitely subsided with use for about 2 weeks. This did not aggravate or increase my pimple production in any way. The fragrance was also not over powering at all. The texture of this is very soft and creamy. After each use my skin felt hydrated, refreshed and energised but the most impressive was its ability to control oil production! The cool as a cucumber scent is definitely a plus and one face wash lasts me 2-3 months. My pores are also more controlled I find with regular use (meaning twice a day usage), and the USP of this product is most definitely the wonderful and different matte effect that it provides. So for something that works easily and gives you an icy fresh and refreshed feeling, this is the best product ever!

Absolutely! I have repurchased this thrice and I do not think anything will stop me from doing it again, and I highly recommend this to people who are looking to eliminate excess oil. (And everyone otherwise too!)
