L’oreal Lucent Magique Light Infusing Foundation – Golden Bronze

L’oreal Lucent Magique Light Infusing Foundation

Dear Beauties,

Today I’ll be reviewing L’oreal Lucent Magique Light Infusing Foundation which I bought couple of months back. I initially wanted to buy the very much raved MUFE HD foundation but the price almost gave me a heart attack! Though I loved the finish of the foundation a lot, the shade was bang on match and my skin looked all glowy and dewy! Anyways after some research I found Loreal Lucent Magique foundation gave similar results so I went ahead and bought it in the shade G7 which is Golden Bronze.

My experience with L’oreal Lucent Magique Light Infusing Foundation – Golden Bronze

Did you read the tall claims of the foundation? Oh my something to lit upt my skin from within as if I swallowed a bulb! LOL Sorry couldnt resist 😀 On a serious note I love this foundation a lot! Being oily skinned girl I always was scared of dewy glowy foundations thinking they might break me out into an oil factory but this isnt the case with this foundation. The fact that attracted me towards Loreal Lucent Magique Foundation were the shades available! Yes this foundation is god sent for girls having proper yellow under tones like me, most of the drugstore foundation I have tried are way too pink and make me look ashy which looks very artifical and unnatural!

So couple of months back when I walked into Guardian the sweet SA asked me about my requirements in a foundation and straight away I told her I want something having yellow under tones and she directly showed me this L’oreal foundation and sweet lord the shades truly had proper yellow under tone and matched my skin perfectly! The foundation comes in 6 shades in Asia and the shades are divided into N – having neutral under tones, G – having gold undertones and R – having pink undertones. The packaging is simple, it comes in glass jar with a pump dispenser.

The shade G7 is perfect for NC40 – NC43 skin tones and matches perfectly. The texture of the foundation is thin and it gives sheer to medium coverage. It blends beautifully and gives satin finish almost semi matte. Even though the claim of light infusing technology there is no shimmer or glitter at all and will not make you look like a disco ball. The foundation truly gives a gorgeous glow on face which I am totally loving! Whenever I wear this foundation my hubby says my skin looks all glowy and smooth 🙂 The coverage is sheer to medium but buildable and does not get cakey at all. It does not settle into fine lines either or accentuate spots or pigmentation patches like the other pink undertone foundations do. It does cover redness extremely well because of the yellow under tones.

Even though I am oily-skinned girl, this foundation does not make my skin oil factory or break me out which is huge plus! I do set my foundation with a powder and only after 4 hours I need to blot my face. It does not feel heavy on skin after applied and sets in couple of mins. Also it does not feel sticky like some foundations after applying. Over all one of the best foundations I have tried and will recommend to everyone!

Pros of L’oreal Lucent Magique Light Infusing Foundation – Golden Bronze:

Cons of L’oreal Lucent Magique Light Infusing Foundation – Golden Bronze:

-> I am not sure it this one has been launched in India yet so availability might be a problem
-> For drugstore foundation it is pricey!
-> Staying power could have been better, the claim of 14 hours is false!
-> Extremely oily skinned girls may not like the dewy finish

This is how it looks on me, I don’t have any eye makeup or blush or concealer on so pls excuse my horrible dark circles!
