L’oreal Infallible Le Rouge Lipstick in Tender Berry (519)
I spent the entire last month searching for an exact mauve-berry lipstick and I was not going to sit quiet until I found it, or mix colors to get it, and thank God after multiple hours of searching online and roaming in drugstores, I finally found it and I am wearing it every single time that I am going out, he he he.

$9.99 for .09 ounces / 2.55 grams. (I got it through buy-one-get-one half off for $5 :D)
L’oreal describes it as a medium, cool, mauve-red creme lipstick. I didn’t really find anything red, but a lovely berry-mauve color that is so flattering even as an everyday lip color. The color is very pigmented too.
Packaging:
It has a transparent plastic-ky packaging. The shade color is printed and colored on the edges. It has a very tight, clicky top with a lock. I thought I might break the tube while opening because you need to apply a little pressure.
When I read that it is a long-wear lip color and that too a 10-hour claim, my instant thought was “will it dry my lips out?” I have used some pretty nasty lipsticks in the past claiming to be long lasting, but were extremely drying and made my lips peel with them :((. Also, they weren’t that long-wearing and evaporated in parts making my lips look like, let’s say mauled!!!
So, I got this lipstick with me and very apprehensively, I applied it. By the time I applied it, I was smiling already! It has the creamiest finish ever, seriously, it glides so nicely on the lips. I usually start from the middle and then glide it to the corners, it just spread like butter.
My next concern was, will it stay? What about the 10-hour claim? Well, I tested the lipstick for a whole day outdoors for it, with a meal and sips of water in between, it stayed for a good 4-5 hours and after that, I needed to re-apply a wee bit, but it stayed well. It faded evenly and was left as a pretty stain, as in, it didn’t look like leftovers.

- No flaking.
- Doesn’t strip my lips of moisture.

- No heavy fragrance or flavor.
- Glides easily.
- They have over 30 shades from reds to nudes.
- The quality can be compared to the high-end brands.
Nays of L’oreal Infallible Le Rouge Lipstick in Tender Berry (519):
- Very creamy, so might leave residue at the edges of the tube.
- Transfers everywhere, left a mark on my plastic juice glass and then even a tissue couldn’t remove that 🙁
- I feel like I have something on the lips, not a heavy “film”-y feeling, but I feel something in there, but then, its not such a big deal.
- Almost $10 for a drugstore lipstick is a little pinching for the pocket.
Would I Purchase Again?
