MAC Pink Plaid Lipstick

MAC describes pink plaid as dirty blue based pink.
Pink plaid is a super cool toned blue based pink matte finish lipstick. It si actually quite an experimental shade. Totally not for everyone but those who are willing to experiment and go a little bold with their lip color, pink plaid is the way to go. The staying power on me is around 5+ hours and although it is not moisturizing, it is not drying either. On its own, it has a tendency to accentuate the fine lines of the lips but this is one lip color I find it best to be worn with a lip gloss. It is a super pigmented color and just a swipe is enough to cover the most pigmented lips.
It washes out the color from the face on its own so it is important that you keep rest of the makeup a little brighter.
Overall, not for everyone but if you are willing to experiment and looking for a “different ” color, this is a nice pick.

If you know how to make a plait, it’s easy. Juts take your hair on the side and plait them sideways. 😀
