Today I will be reviewing my second product from the newly launched Revolution Pro range – Revolution Pro Full Coverage Foundation in the shade ‘F8’. I have already reviewed the Revolution Pro Correcting Primer: Radiant Peach. This new Pro range from Makeup Revolution is marketed and aimed for professional makeup artists and this foundation is for disguising tattoos temporarily, hiding blemishes, scars etc. This is my 3rd foundation in my conquest for a Holy Grail foundation. Let’s see how it fared out.

My Experience with Revolution Pro Full Cover Camouflage Foundation:
The foundation is enclosed in a black tube with the name of the brand embossed in white letters. You can see the shade of the foundation through a transparent section at the bottom of the tube. The name of the shade ‘F8’ is written in this section. The shade range is the same as the Makeup Revolution Fast Base Foundation Stick, and hence I went with the same shade for this range.

Overall, the packaging is very simple and efficient. I am not sure if this is travel friendly because of the cap; there are chances that it can come off if not screwed very tightly. This is a con if we take it into consideration that this product is designed for kits of professional makeup artists.
The consistency of the product is thick and it takes a bit of effort to blend it out. It sets quite fast, so you need to be quick while blending it out. The finish is quite dry, therefore this is not at all suitable for people with dry skin. I was willing to set all these small complaints I had with the product aside, but I discovered it had the biggest problem that no ideal foundation should have: white-cast. I thought looking like a ghost after wearing a foundation was a thing of the past. The white cast and cakiness is very apparent even with a single layer, the coverage is medium to full but this isn’t any good because you end up looking like a ghost.

I did multiple lasting power tests, just for this review. I was so put off by the white cast and the heavy formula. The lasting power of the product is very decent, it can last up to 8-9 hours without touch-ups. The product is water-proof but not sweat proof. But it settles into laugh lines within 2-3 hours, even with a primer. I thought the white cast will go away after some time, instead it faded a bit but was still there after 8 hours. I don’t know if this white cast problem is in all the 18 shades of this product, but the shade F8 (for medium skin tones with yellow undertone) has this problem.
