Maybelline Lasting Drama Swirl Gel Liner

I am here to share with you my latest adventure in the field of makeup. I was truly inspired by Rati’s article on using gel liners. That was motivation enough to divorce my long time “liquid liner” 😛 After the positive review of the Maybelline gel liner, I decided to get it, but then, this beauty caught my eye!!!!!

Glitter swirl with gel liner, smudge proof liner, waterproof for 24 hours.

Packaging:
What a gorgeous packaging!!! Love at first sight, a small tiny glass tub with the swirl of silver and black!!! The lid is not that great, but at this price, its “kaam-chalaau” type :-p, small glass tub and a brush with cap.

This picture doesn’t do full justice to the shades. The middle colour is gorgeous!!!
Pros of Maybelline Lasting Drama Swirl Gel Liner:
- Good value for money.
- You get the absolute black and silver shades and all combinations in between!!!
- Really waterproof!!! Wash your face and it stays put!! Use cleanser or oil or moisturizer to remove it.
- Brush is soft, though you need to practice to get that really fine line.
- Brush has a cap, good for travelling.
- Does not flake!!! (For a chronic “eye-rubber” -p likes me, it’s a boon!!!)
- Sets fast, really fast.
- The medium shimmery charcoal colour is really pretty.
Cons of Maybelline Lasting Drama Swirl Gel Liner:
- Black is intense, but not “that” intense for me when used alone (other beauties may be totally fine with it, but I like the dark black liquid liners).
- Shimmery silver is the lesser used of the two shades, but the mix can be worn everyday.
- Really need to work fast if you want to smudge it.

These look awesome !! But I hope the whole thing does not get mixed up..
i havent mixed them up yet!!! the swirls are thick enough to pick up the colours with the brush without mixing em :specs: :specs: :methinks: :methinks:
