My Experience With NYX Brush On Taupe Lip Gloss:
Packaging: The brush On lip glosses from NYX come in a rectangular tube packaging. It’s made out of clear plastic so you can easily spot the colour in your stash. The applicator is pretty long. The brush is kind of stiff and tapers at the end. It has a very different brush than most lip glosses. The packaging is sleek and the product doesn’t leak out, so it is travel friendly.
Colour/Pigmentation: Taupe is a milky nude colour. It looks proper beige in the tube but comes off very sheer on swatching. This gloss doesn’t contain any glitter/shimmer. This lip gloss is perfect to use when you want to decrease the intensity of a bold lippy. On its own, I think only fair skinned people can pull this lip gloss off. This gloss settles into fine lines on your lips. Pigmentation is on the sheer side, as I said earlier. The application is streaky, so you have to use our finger to even out the gloss on your lips.
Texture: The texture is creamy enough. It’s neither too thick nor too thin. It is sticky but not the kind you hate. The shimmers are very finely milled, so you don’t feel them when you purse your lips. The gloss moisturizes my lips when it is still on the lips. It doesn’t exactly hydrate, but my lips do not feel dry after I remove this either.
Staying Power: It stays for about 3-4 hours. It fades with a meal. This gloss doesn’t leave a stain behind, but it transfers easily. Smell/Taste: It has a chemical smell to it but it doesn’t linger much. It doesn’t have any taste to it though.
