Hello everyone!
Last one from the dud range, by Revlon Colorstay of eyeliners in the shade 205, Sapphire, here is the review of the same. I would be describing the shade only as the texture and pigmentation is just as poor…read on to know more on this dud!

My Experience with Revlon 205 Sapphire Colorstay Eyeliner:
The eyeliner pencil comes in a typical packaging like kohls these days. The detailed information is given on the back. The pencil is a twist up one with a color coded cap. There is a smudger and tip sharpener at the base of the pencil. The smudger tip is pretty hard sponge and is protected with a transparent cap. Packaging-wise it is functional and smart.
The shade is metallic blue with hints of cyan. Agree that it is a unique color, but again the same old story of poor pigmentation and hard texture. As the price and brand are both high up, it is absolutely not acceptable. Hope Revlon reformulates the product as it is packaged well. The texture is a sad story! I have to swipe it multiple times to get a simple look. I am very disappointed to say the least. With this price tag and brand name, I was expecting a lot from this. Using it as a liner is a pain as well; due to the hard dry texture, you have to swipe again and again; and you would still not get the proper lined look.
The staying power is okayish as I did not want to keep this on for long. The texture was such a turn-off that the tugging and pulling on the lids and waterline actually irritated my eyes. I would not recommend this to anybody as there are lot of options available in the market with better texture and intense pigmentation.
Pros of Revlon 205 Sapphire Colorstay Eyeliner:
• Nice packaging
• Stays long
• Nice color
• Availability
Cons of Revlon 205 Sapphire Colorstay Eyeliner:
• Poor pigmentation
• Hard texture
• Tugs and pulls the lids and waterline
• Smudger is of no use
• Pricey, considering the sad nature of the product

I now own Chambor one and it is just so amazing, the color and texture both. Sad to see a brand like Revlon delivering products worse than Coloressence. 😛
It’s sad to see this product turning out to be a dud. Maybelline Colossal range is way better than this in terms of texture, shade and pigmentation.
Thank god I didn’t buy it! Thanks for the review Rashmita 🙂
Lovely color but what a disappointment otherwise. Thanks for the review Rash.
