Hello Ladies! Today I’ll be reviewing Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick – Mulled Wine which I bought from my trip to Bangkok. I totally love this color and will buy more shades in this.

My take on Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick – Mulled Wine

The black case packaging is very sleek and attractive. But the cap is very loose and hence I cannot carry is safely in my handbag. I have to use a lipstick case for it. The color is reddish wine.

When the SA swatched this on my hand I did not like it much. But when I applied it on my lips it looked so much better! That maybe because I have pigmented lips and it hid my pigmentation very well. The texture is very creamy and moisturizing. Though I rarely use a lip brush to apply lipstick I applied this using a lip brush and voila! The entire application is so different! It comes out even and lasts long…! I liked it! Then I tried something else. My sister who stays in US had got one concealer from Neutrogena. I couldn’t use it as a concealer though, as the shade was much lighter for me. So I used it as a lip base for applying this lipstick. Of course, I have to use a lip balm first. And the colour payoff was even better! It’s definitely an evening wear color as it’d be too loud for daytime wear.

The staying power for me is 4-5 hours with light snacks after which it fades evenly. I don’t mind reapplying.
