Revlon Moisture Stay Lip Color Nutty

We all have head banged :headbang: sighed :methinks: and sulked :hypnotized: innumerable number of times seeing all the good cosmetics which are not available to us gullible Indian Beauties. Well, for the first time we have all the reason be happy; this wonderful lipstick has been discontinued internationally, but it is still, very much available at all the Revlon counters in India :yahoo:
Thus, you will not find any information about this lipstick on Revlon’s official website. I have sourced most of the information about the lipstick from Amazon or other Indian online shopping websites. I think its high time Revlon should have an exclusive website for India too as it is a big market for its products.

I bought the shade “Nutty.” I quite liked other shades too from this range, but ended up on this one as I didn’t have this particular shade in my stash. I found that the shades in this range are really good for Indian skin tones. You should check them out too.
No.32, Nutty is a beautiful brick red shade with orange-to-brown undertone. It’s not a proper brown lipstick, but does belong to the brown family. The shade Nutty is semi-matte finish , has no shimmer, but does not sit flat on your lips as it gives some shine being creamy.
The shade; however, is not unique and you can easily find dupes in other brands too.
Price:
INR 675 for 1.7 gm.
Packaging:
The lipstick comes in a beautiful, neat, sturdy, classy, golden casing and feels luxurious too. It’s a steel finish, sleek, slender, long tube which holds the lipstick. The lipstick has a flat, rounded top and I find such lipsticks are easier to apply along the lip curves.
Texture:
The lipstick is soft, creamy and glides easily on the lips. I love its soft, rich, smooth, moisturising formula and it feels lightweight on the lips. If you have dry lips, you should definitely give this a shot. The lipstick has no cheap fragrance/smell or taste, but it does give a slight mint tingle/sensation to the lips for a few minutes after application. I haven’t seen any lip plumping effect though. Also, the lipstick does not bleed even though it’s quite creamy and soft.

What I Like about Revlon Moisture Stay Lip Color – Nutty:
- Soft, smooth, creamy formula which glides beautifully.
- The lipstick is quite moisturising on the lips. It does keep my lips soft for long. I don’t need a lip balm underneath this, even in winters.
- Decent pigmentation which is buildable and can be layered upon for more colour.
- Feels lightweight on the lips.
- Gives full, opaque coverage.
- No cheap fragrance or taste.
- Gives a slight cooling sensation/mint tingle to the lips.
- Good staying power. It stayed on me for a good 4-5 hours and faded evenly after that. Even after food and drinks, there was decent amount of colour left on my lips.
- Does not settle in lines and cracks on the lips.
- Beautiful packaging.
- Available in lovely shades which I think are good for Indian skin tones.
- Easily available across Revlon counters in India.
What I Didn’t Like about Revlon Moisture Stay Lip Color – Nutty:
- I find it expensive for the amount of product you get, it’s a mere 1.7 gm, which is less than half of the standard lipstick weight of 4 gms.
- I couldn’t find the list of ingredients on the package or anywhere online.
Do I Recommend Revlon Moisture Stay Lip Color – Nutty>
Overall, it’s a pretty nice lipstick and I would definitely recommend these.

Btw, I picked up chambor gloss 603 after reading your review, it is pinker than anything i have, (somehow being medium complexioned with yellow undertones, most pinks dont work for me), but it looks pretty good!
