Shahnaz Forever Moisturiser Review

Shahnaz Forever Moisturiser

After having a great experience using the other two products from Shahnaz Forever range, I decided to give the Shahnaz Forever moisturiser a try & here is my take on that.

What does the company claim about this Moisturiser: A delicate blend of pure plant extracts, this light textured formulation helps to remove dryness, rehydrate the skin and protect it from moisture depletion. Easily absorbed, it contains natural moisturizers and skin softeners like aloe vera, honey, rose along with natto gum, a powerful antioxidant. Helps to maintain and restore the skin’s youthful qualities, leaving it soft, smooth and radiant.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Apply on face and neck and leave on.

Price: Rs.75 INR for 50g
My Experience: The Shahnaz Forever moisturiser comes in a tube with a flip cap. The texture of the cream is little runny so if you happen to hold the tube upside down & open the flip cap, you would get more than the quantity you need. The fragrance of the cream is very synthetic & unlikeable. The cream gets absorbed easily & doesn’t make the skin oily or greasy, but it broke me out. I guess one of the reasons it broke me out is its overpowering fragrance because my skin dislikes products with heavy scents. There is not much to talk about this cream because it resulted in break outs & didn’t work at all. I have been using to moisturise my feet & this cream treats them well 😉

Pros of the Shahnaz Forever Moisturiser:

• It gets easily absorbed in & doesn’t make the skin greasy.
• It would definitely work for dry skin but I won’t suggest applying it on the face, it would be suitable for arms & legs.
• Travel friendly, can be easily carried in a bag.
• I applied it on my hands & they look supple & smooth to touch.

Cons of the Shahnaz Forever Moisturiser:

  • Broke me out }:[
  • It’s heavily scented which is unbearable.
  • Unattractive packaging.
  • No SPF.

Will I repurchase this? No I will not.

Will I recommend this? No I’m not going to. If you have already got it, you could use this as hand or foot cream but this will not work as face moisturiser because it results in skin breakouts. 🙁
