Hello pretty ladies,
This is my first review on IMBB even though I have been an avid reader of the reviews for past two years. So, I am super excited to post my first review.
A little bit about myself as I am writing here for the first time. I am a software engineer working for an IT firm and have been living in Delhi/NCR for the past 22 years. I have combination and pimple-prone skin. I love fashion. The product which I am going to review today is the one I am using for the past one year and was suggested to me by my parlor aunty.
An extremely effective formulation, which improves the texture of dull, dry skin, making it look younger provides vital nutrients and has a rejuvenating and revitalizing effect. Helps to protect the skin and reduces the signs of ageing. Makes the skin appear firm, smooth and radiant. A highly beneficial preparation for dull, dry, dehydrated and wrinkled skin.
Method of Use:
Apply on face, neck and hands. Wash off when dry, preferably with milk and then water.
INR 500 (100 gm). I got it on discount for Rs. 446
Gairika Powder, Yashad Bhasam, Khajoor Kwath, Neem Patra, Babul Gond.
Use Daily or as needed, apply on cleansed skin.
My Experience with Shahnaz Husain Shaneem Neem Rejuvenating Skin Balm:
It’s mainly for oily to combination skin type. I have personally used it for 1 year and have recommended to people who have blemishes or pimples. It is a green, semi-liquid mask that spreads quite evenly, but apply a thin layer of this mask; else you would have a hard time removing it. It brightens the skin instantly. It is a good product, though its results are a bit slow. It is not very moisturizing, but then it is not supposed to be, as it is for oily skin. It dries in 15 minutes after which I wash my face. I can see oil free and glowing face. Even the redness of pimples subdues by using this. Face remains oil free for a few hours. I do this thrice a week.
This is how I use:
1) I massage my face with Shahnaz Husain Shazema Herbal cleanser (it is a great product and best suited for summers as it gives a cooling sensation for 5 minutes) and leave it on for a cooling effect, I don’t wash it.
2) Over it, I apply Rejuvenating Skin Balm and keep it for 15 minutes.
3) Wash face with water.
It doesn’t have any fragrance but make eyes watery if applied very close to the eyes, otherwise does not cause any tingling sensation on the skin.
As I don’t have wrinkles, so can’t say much about that part, but yes, my blemishes and pimples are getting lighter with regular usage. I am using this pack thrice a week, and there is a little bit improvement in skin color, my pimples dry faster and it does dry up the face a little. So, apply moisturizer after it.
It evens out my skin tone and makes it look clearer. The best part about this face pack is that it doesn’t break me out. I recommend this for all skin types and it is now my HG product.
Pros of Shahnaz Husain Shaneem Neem Rejuvenating Skin Balm:
- Good for pimple-prone skin.
- Evens out skin tone.
- Gives blemish-free skin.
- No strong smell.
- Has anti-aging and wrinkle-reducing properties.
- Natural ingredients.
- Effective and suits sensitive and combination skin.
- It actually helps in reducing small red rashes which appear due to exposure under the sun.
Cons of Shahnaz Husain Shaneem Neem Rejuvenating Skin Balm:
- Price is a bit on the higher side (but it goes a long way).
- It is not much easier to blend or apply on face.
- May not be good for very dry skin.
I really can’t think of any other cons. I really love it. It’s a great product!!
This is my 3rd tub!!! I recommend this to all.
