St. Ives Energizing Citrus Moisturizing Body Wash Review
This is a review of St. Ives Energizing Citrus Moisturizing Body Wash.
Awakens your senses as it cleanses and softens skin. Awaken your senses with this St. Ives Energizing Citrus Body Wash. Featuring an uplifting scent of citrus, mint and eucalyptus, this moisture-rich formula doesn’t just cleanse, it invigorates. Use daily with St. Ives lotions for skin that looks and feels incredibly soft, fresh, and ready to take on the day!
How To Apply:
Pour onto moistened pouf, sponge, wash cloth or hands. Work into a rich, creamy lather and rinse. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes flush thoroughly with water.

Citrus is an instant go-to ingredient because of its refreshing scent, but that’s just the beginning of this fruit family’s power. Citrus-based cleansers have long been known for their naturally astringent, pore-tightening properties, and our body washes are no exception. Citrus extract is also a skin-softening force to be reckoned with, so get ready for clean, balanced, invigorated skin.
Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycerine, Sodium Chloride, Hydroxypropyl, Methylcellulose, Glycol Stearate, Disodium EDTA, Phenethyl Alcohol, Citric Acid, Polyquaternium 7, Linalool, PPG 2, Methyl Ether, Butylphenyl, Methylpropional, Benzyl Salicylate, Methylisothiazolinone, Yellow 5 Lake, Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090), Citrus Tangerina (Tangerine) Extract, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Fruit Extract.
My Experience with St. Ives Energizing Citrus Moisturizing Body Wash:
This is such a nice body wash, the scent is clean, citrusy and refreshing. It’s not sweet at all and smells like crisp lemons and citrus fruits!!The scent is very much like freshly squeezed grapefruit. Great for summer and great for morning wake-up. The scent fills the shower, but doesn’t linger long on the skin, which is a disappointment.
It lathers well, the cleansing power is decent, and it rinses clean, skin feels good afterwards. It generates tons of lather on a bath sponge, but isn’t super drying or harsh. But it is not as moisturizing as some of the other body washes I have used but that figures since this is a gel and I have mostly used body wash in cream forms.
I would suggest this to someone who has oily skin because it takes the oily feeling away as soon as you use it. The bottle lasts forever.
I love the fact that it is formulated without parabens and phthalates and not tested on animals. I would definitely recommend to try this for the coming summer.
Pros of St. Ives Energizing Citrus Moisturizing Body Wash:

- If you love anything citrusy, you are going to fall head over heels in love with this.

Cons of St. Ives Energizing Citrus Moisturizing Body Wash:
- The plastic packaging looks very cheap.
- Not as moisturizing as I hoped.
- Scent does not linger long on skin.
