I am a sucker for brown eyeliners! I absolutely love stocking them up. After I bought and reviewed Smoky 2-in-1 Black Gel Liner and Brow Definer, I had to pick the one in Brown from the same range. Read on to know whether this one’s better or not. 😀

My Experience with The Body Shop Smoky 2-in-1 Brown Gel Liner and Brow Definer:
Brow Application – This shade in particular is not good for brow application. I have light coloured eyebrows and this one does no justice to darkening them. I prefer using the Black one for my brows.
Brush – The brush is another thing I am in love with. It helps in creating thin as well as thick lines (OMG! 😀 ) You can also invert it on the jar’s handle and use it if you feel it’s too small. 🙂
Longevity – It’s great! Once dried, the eyeliner does not budge no matter how much you try to rub it off. It comes out only after a little more effort and is safe for waterline application too. I applied it yesterday and it stayed for a good 7 hours (me so happy!).
Pigmentation – The eyeliner is of a beautiful dark brown shade. I love it because it’s great for everyday wear and is without any shimmer or sheen. The dupe of this eyeliner is Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in Brown. Now, thanks to this gel liner, I won’t need to keep repurchasing my kajal stick which would occasionally break during application.
Texture – It is soft and creamy which is why it takes a little more time for the gel eyeliner to get dried. That may be because you need enough time to spread it evenly throughout the brows. But since it takes time to dry, it helps me in correcting any mistakes made during application (so no complaints!).
Pros of The Body Shop Smoky 2-in-1 Brown Gel Liner and Brow Definer:

• Water-proof, soap-proof, oil-proof, smudge-proof
• Creamy texture, therefore smooth application
• The brush is not rough on my eyes

• The brush helps in creating different types of lines
• Helps in achieving different looks
Cons of The Body Shop Smoky 2-in-1 Brown Gel Liner and Brow Definer:
• This colour in particular is not suitable for darkening eyebrows
• Smudges easily initially
• Takes a while to dry
• Might sting sensitive eyes if applied on the waterline
• Expensive
Conclusion:
For starters, it’s a smudge-proof, waterproof, creamy-textured gel eyeliner. Now, once the eyeliner sets (after 5 minutes) it doesn’t budge for a really long time. This colour in particular is not great for darkening the brows, but it’s pigmented heavily with no shimmer or sheen. It’s an amazing dark brown shade perfect for everyday wear. But if you don’t want to spend so much on a gel liner, then the dupe for this particular one is Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in Brown. I love this eyeliner and because a little goes a long way, I won’t need to keep repurchasing my Eyeconic kajal. 😀

I love brown eyeliners too, but this is too stark for brows, I feel. Looove the staying power and this, as a product. Worth the money. I feel brown eyeconic breaks more than black one. :/
