EOS Lip Balm Review

Hi beautiful ladies!!

I am going to review the very famous EOS lip balm today.

A few months back, while browsing through various beauty sites, I accidentally read about this baby – EOS lip balm and from that time, I started searching for more details about this cutie, but there was no review about the cutie on the Indian blogs. So, I started reading foreign blogs and came to know that this balm was 95% organic, comes in a cute egg-shaped packaging and it was not available in India.

I didn’t give up. I gathered all sorts of information about this balm and continued searching for some sort of online store from where I could order it, but in vain.

At last my dream came true. One of my colleague’s relative had gone abroad and my good friend asked what I wanted. I was elated! I didn’t think even for a second, told my friend that I wanted EOS lip balm, but ladies, I am very greedy, I didn’t ask for one lip balm, but for three!!

So, here is my review about EOS lip balm.

EOS Lip Balm

They come in various flavors, but this egg shaped beauty comes in 3 flavors:
1. Honey suckle honey dew.
2. Summer fruit.
3. Lemon drop ( with spf 15 ).

What the Company Claims:

Can a lip balm make you smile? We think so. That’s why we invented this one.
EOS lip balm is 95 % organic, 100 % natural, and paraben and petrolatum free. Packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoba oil, EOS keeps your lips moist, soft and sensationally smooth.

Directions For Use:

Twist off top. Pucker up. Smooth on. Smile.

Price:

$ 3.49.

Ingredients:

Olea europaea ( olive ) fruit oil, beeswax, cocos nucifera ( coconut )oil, simmondsis chinesis ( jojoba )seed oil, natural flavor, butyrospermum parkii ( shea butter ), stevia rebaudiana leaf/stem extract, tocopherol, helianthus annus ( sunflower ) seed oil, vaccinum angustifolium ( blueberry ) fruit extract, fragaria vesca ( strawberry ) fruit extract, prunus persica ( peach ) fruit extract, linalool. Not tested on animals & gluten free. Certified organic by Oregon Tilth.

Texture of the Balm:

This balm is pretty solid, and won’t melt off during summers. It spreads in a smooth and even manner on lips. You don’t have to apply any pressure at all, to get the product on your lips. It is not sticky and feels very light on lips as if you have nothing on. The smell is very mild and the taste is sweet. The taste is a major problem in my case because I lick it off as soon as I apply it ;-) .I feel it can be used by men too as no one would be able to notice anything!

Second

This picture of Ed Westrwick from Gossip Girl must have been the reason why EOS Lip Balm is the most raved lip balm to date.

Third

My Take on EOS Lip Balm:

It was like a dream come true when I started using this lip balm. It makes my lips soft and supple. I find myself reaching out for this one too often. This can be used before using a lip stick to moisturize your lips without changing the color or becoming glossy. It doesn’t give any shine to the lips and is very creamy. Even my chapped lips ( I was without a balm for one full day ) healed overnight with this one. Also, the packaging is very cute! Whenever I apply the balm in public, I have caught the girls near me staring at the cutie and asking what it was and getting amazed.

Pros of EOS Lip Balm:

1.  100% natural & 95% organic.
2.  Not tested on animals so cruelty free.
3.  Paraben and petrolatum free.
4.  Moisturizes, heals and softens the lips (does what it claims).
5.  The packaging is super cute and will become the centre of attraction.
6.  No stickiness or sheen is seen on the lips.
7.  Perfect to be worn under lipsticks.
8.  Good smell and taste.
9.  It can be used by guys too without getting noticed.

Cons of EOS Lip Balm:

1.  It s not available in India.
2.  I wonder how to apply it, once it reaches the level of the lower pot (when the egg shape becomes flat)??

No other cons apart from the above points.

IMBB Rating:

4/5 (-1 for the availability).

Do I Recommend This???

Yes I do; to all those beautiful ladies who have someone coming from abroad, please do get this and pamper your lips!!
