Mint Brown Eye Makeup Tutorial

Hey Ladies,

Today, I am here with something other than an outfit post, a makeup tutorial! I created a minty-brown look and added some false lashes with it as well. One thing I learned from this tutorial is that clicking pictures while applying makeup is EXTREMELY difficult! Kudos to all the lovely ladies here that make it seem so easy. Anyway, I hope this turns out well and my pictures make sense to you all. So, let’s get on with it.

Products Used:

  • Urban Decay Primer Potion.
  • Coastal Scents 88 Palette (colors identified in picture).
  • Revlon Creme Shadow (used as eyeshadow base).
  • Revlon ColorStay Concealer.
  • Sephora Liquid Eyeliner.
  • L’Oreal Voluminous Smoldering Pencil Eyeliner.
  • Elizabeth Arden Ceramide mascara.

Step 1:

Start off with applying concealer under your eyes and around your eyebrows. (I used Revlon ColorStay Concealer in “light”). Then, prime your lids with an eyeshadow primer.

Step 2:

Apply a cream base (Revlon Creme Shadow). Then, take a bright white eyeshadow and apply to the inner corner of the eye and undereye. *Don’t worry about shadow getting on eyelashes, it will brush off later on*

Step 3:

Apply a mint blue color shadow on the center of the lid and on the center lower waterline.

Step 3 -Step 4

Step 4:

Apply a brown eyeshadow to the outer corner of the lid. Blend it out into the crease. You can also take a light brown shadow and apply into the crease to blend out all the colors.

Step 5:

Apply the same inner corner white shadow to the brow bone area, right under the brows. Take a clean brush and blend the harsh edges.

Step 6:

Curl your eyelashes.

Step 5 -7

Step 7:

Apply false eyelashes.

Step 8:

Line your eyes with liquid liner and apply pencil liner on your waterline . Put layers of mascara and you are done!

Here is the final result:

Thanks! Try a light blue shadow with a hint of green. It comes off as minty when applied.
