Quick Eye Brightening Eye Makeup Tutorial

Hello ladies,

We all love bright, natural-looking eyes, don’t we? So, today I will share with you a brightening eye makeup look, which will make your eyes look wide open and bright. This is especially very wearable look for day time, and for occasions when you want natural brighter eyes. So, forget tired-looking eyes and look fully awake with this eye makeup. This is very easy and quick, can be done in 5-6 minutes. I have attained this look with Faces smokey eye palette and used champagne, peach and taupe brown colours from there.

Step-By-Step Tutorial:

Step 1:

Conceal skin around your eyes to even tone the skin.

Step 2:

Use good eye primer, this will make the eye shadow stay longer and look bright.

Step 3:

Take a light colour shadow which looks close to your skin (I have used a peach eyeshadow), and apply it all over your eye lid by going dab-dab.

Step 4:

Now, take a light shimmery shadow and apply it on the inner corner of your eyes. I have used champagne shadow.

Step 5:

With a flat tip brush, take the same highlighter shadow again and line your upper lash line. Now, use the same brush and line your lower lash line too, do not add shadow on brush again. Whatever colour is there on brush already will be sufficient to do this.

Step 6:

Take a light brown (not matte) shadow and apply it on your crease , just ¾ of it. I have used taupe brown eye shadow for this. This gives the needed depth to the eyes.

Step 7:

Now,take the same highlighter colour on a fluffy brush and apply this colour on your brow bone.

Step 8:

Now, use the same brush without adding any more shadow in it to mix any harsh lines and this is how it will look at the end.

Step 9:

Using a black eyeliner or kohl, tight line your eyes. Do not apply on your water line. In case you have small eyes or the milky liner suits you, can use that on water line.

Step 10:

Curl your lashes and apply 2 coats of mascara. Apply mascara on your lower lashes too.

Step 11:

This is the final look.

Ya sweet and innocent eyes! I use the same lakme kajal to tightline my eyes, and after a while all black stuff is on my under eye area and cheeks!

Hi Varsha, Do you rub your eyes alot… as lakme satin kajal never smudge for me..
in case you can use maybelline gel liner for tightlineing too… that works wonderfull and no smudg :)

which concealer do you use Shweta?

Reply

sweta February 25, 2013 at 6:12 pm

I do not own a proper concealer Kanika, as of now I use the tinted eye rollon from garnier…
that is pretty good…. if your skin is not very dark around eyes then using foundation will also do… just set it with some poder in case you have oily eyelids :)
