Revlon Powder Blush – Tawny Peach

Revlon Powder Blush – Tawny Peach

Hi beauties!

My love for peach shades blushers is as much as my love for pink ones. I find peach simpler and more neutral looking on my skin which has yellow undertone. I find it more comfortable wearing such shade. One peach blusher that I use frequently recently is the Revlon Powder Blush in Tawny Peach. =)

Time flies so fast. Before we know it, it is summer already. During the summers, most prefer corals and orangey lippies, including me. With those lipstick shades I mentioned, adding a nice peach blush on can complete a summer makeup/look so well. So in this summer season, my go-to blush, the Revlon Tawny Peach Powder Blush really gives me that fun summer vibe.

Revlon Tawny Peach Powder Blush comes in square, black plastic compact. Part of the lid is transparent, showing the blush on itself, inside the palette. It brings convenience to the owner  especially if she has another similar Revlon blush. It’s easy to pick the right shade all the time.
Inside the compact, at the other side of the lid is a mirror. This Revlon Powder Blush also comes with a brush. I like the packaging a lot for it is easy to tote around. I prefer bringing this blush when I am travelling for it already has a brush and mirror. It’s all there. =)

The brand name is engraved on the blush itself which I find really aesthetically appealing. It looks orangey, peach in the pan but looks more natural peach than that when already applied on cheeks. It has satin finish to it. It has this subtle shine that makes cheeks glow.

While it is a plus for me that this blush is almost impossible to overdo, it can be a con for some. Even though this is sheer, it is buildable. I like how I can control the amount of peach color on my cheeks with this blush. For the color to show up better, I need to dip my brush on the pan thrice. Also, bigger blush brush helped achieving nicer color on cheeks compared to just using the mini brush included in the compact. I’d like to note that I find the free brush usable too. It’s okay to use when travelling. I prefer this kind of blush on over those overly pigmented ones that need the slightest touch of brush to give the right color on cheeks.

In reference, I am in NC30 shade. While I need to layer this blush on my cheeks to achieve nice peach color, I do believe that this may not show up on some skin tones. Also, this may work as highlighter on darker skin tones. =)

-Didn’t cause irritation. Didn’t cause break outs.
-It is almost impossible to overdo. I need up to 3 layers for color to be visible.
-Satin finish that give skin subtle glow.
