1. Go easy with the heat:

If you use hair styling tools and heat quite often, then that may be the cause of your frizzy hair. Avoid using heat on your hair as much as possible and never ever forget heat protectant sprays.

Once a week hot oil treatment can do wonders for the overall health of your hair. You can use olive oil or coconut oil to do this. You can also go for concoction of 2-3 oils for added benefits. Just warm a little and apply it gently onto your hair thoroughly from scalp till hair ends. Let it sit for 30 minutes before you shampoo and condition your hair.

3. Don’t shampoo every single day:

If you are shampooing too often, then that may lead to stripping up off natural oils present in the scalp which in turn makes the hair frizz prone. Always use shampoos with gentle formulas to remove the dirt build-up from the scalp.

4. Protect your hair:

Weather and pollution can create havoc on the hair and give you frizzy tresses. Try to cover your hair with a scarf or a hat when you are out in the sun for longer hours. Also, if you swim, always wet your hair in a shower first, and that will help to stop the chlorine in the water in a pool being absorbed by your hair.

Beer helps to rehydrate dry hair, make your hair more manageable and it will bring back the shine and bounce too. Simply coat your hair with beer, allow it to sit for a few minutes and then rinse it out with cold water. Do this once every two weeks.

Apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid, which helps to smooth out the frizz and give new life to your dull hair. Dilute the apple cider vinegar with equal amounts of water, rinse it through your hair and leave it to sit for a few minutes before rinsing out again.

Avocado hair mask:

Avocados are a great source of natural oils, they have high amount of Vitamin E and good kind of fatty acids that help soothe frizzy and unruly hair. You need to mash one ripe avocado, add a little olive oil and mix it well. Shampoo your hair and then apply the mixture throughout your hair. Let it sit for 30 minutes and then rinse it out thoroughly with cold water.

Banana hair mask

Bananas help to lock in moisture to soften and add shine to your hair and help prevent and repair split ends. Take one mashed banana, three tbsp of natural yoghurt and a tbsp of lemon juice. Mix them well and apply on your hair. Leave it on for an hour. Rinse your hair and then shampoo and condition as usual.
