Here’s my next product from my growing “Green Tea” collection.  Green tea is supposed to be really good for our health and skin as it is a very strong antioxidant and prevents free radical damage caused by sun and other environmental factors. This product is Aroma Magic’s Green Tea Face Pack, this is my first purchase from Aroma Magic (the packaging is not really inviting, is it?), but I have heard such rave reviews from the girls at IMBB that I finally got myself an Aroma Magic product.

Product Details:

Aroma magic green tea face pack remove free radicals from the skin that causes skin damage and problems of pigmentation, wrinkles, skin ageing and fine lines. It lightens skin tone, tightens loose and sagging skin giving it a glowing and smooth texture. It has extracts of green tea, lemon, carrots, vitamin A, C, E and pure essential oils of grapefruit and orange. Suitable to all skin type.

How To Use:

Clean face, apply pack all over the face and rinse off after 20 minutes.

Quantity:

50 gm.

Shelf Life:

2 years.

Active Ingredients:

Extracts of green tea, lemon, carrot, vitamins A, C and E & pure essential oils of grapefruit and orange.

My Experience with Aroma Magic Green Tea Face Pack:

I like the creamy texture, hate the smell. Its like a silky, pearl finish cream which is easy to apply and spreads easily too. It dries but not too tight like clay masks, which is a good thing because I have heard that overuse of tightening masks can cause wrinkles. I don’t know how effective it is in preventing skin damage as it claims; but I apply it post-sun-exposure because it has a cooling, calming effect and makes me feel fresh.

Pros of Aroma Magic Green Tea Face Pack:

• Affordable.
• Has the goodness of green tea which is supposed to prevent skin damage from free radicals.
• Simple, no-nonsense packaging, easy to use flip-cap.
• Soft, creamy texture that doesn’t cause any skin irritation.
• Skin feels soft and fresh post application.

Cons of Aroma Magic Green Tea Face Pack:

• Smells weird, reminds me of the bleaching powder used to clean toilets, yuck.
• No immediate effect seen as far as skin quality and tone is concerned.

Find Verdict on Aroma Magic Green Tea Face Pack:

I may or may not buy this again as it doesn’t really show any dramatic effect. Nevertheless, I feel it’s a good mask for regular use and if the claims of having green tea is indeed true, then it probably will benefit my skin in the long run.
