Body butters are very moisturizing plus nursing, and Bath and Body Works’ body butters are very famous amongst people in the west.  So, the last time I visited their store, I bought body butters as gift for all the ladies in my family, and kept some of them for myself too.

My Experience with Bath and Body Works Black Amethyst Intense Moisture Body Butter:

This body butter is really moisturizing and the claim of improving skin in one week proved true for me. I don’t have excessively dry skin, but I think, it will do a good job there too. But what I love the most is the fragrance. It’s a delicate woody smell, which is just perfect.  I keep sniffing myself after applying this body butter, it smells that nice. Somehow, the smell does not linger for very long, maximum 1-2 hours, but when I top it with the body mist from the same line, the fragrance remains for 6-7 hours (I will review that body mist soon).

This body butter is of thick consistency, still it absorbs fast into the skin. No need to work it into the skin for a long time. It makes my skin smooth and soft, but not sticky. Works well for drier areas like knee and elbows. This body butter comes in a plastic tub, which is fully loaded with the cream.

If you want to hydrate your skin, want to make it smooth, soft, and at the same time you want to smell great, then this body butter is for you. I love this body butter in “Black Amethyst” fragrance.
