Well, today’s topic is about easy hair masks to deal with frizzy hair. Raise your hands if you are the one who spends most of the time dealing with frizzy hair. Well, I am one among those who have a bad time dealing with frizzy hair, especially during morning hours.
Frizz on the hair is generally due to lack of moisture or improper hair care routine. Frizzy hair takes a lot of efforts to deal with and the problem gets worse if you already have dry hair. So, here we mention you easy homemade masks that help to provide nourishment and hydration to the scalp, thus, taming the frizz on the hair.
1. Banana Nourishment Therapy:
As we all know, banana is extremely good to be used on the dry and dehydrated scalp. Take one banana and mash it to make a thick paste. Now add two spoons of honey and two spoons of olive oil. Mix together and apply on the scalp. Wash off with lukewarm water after 30 minutes. This is an effective therapy to treat dry and frizzy hair.
2. Mayonnaise Therapy:
Mayonnaise contains a lot of fatty acids which can help to keep your scalp hydrated and moisturized. It provides enough nourishment to the scalp which provides strength to the hair. Take one cup of mayonnaise and add some almond oil to it. Mix together and apply on the scalp. Wait for one hour and wash off with cold water.
3. Carbonated Therapy:
Using carbonated therapy such as sparkling water or soda water is an easy and effective remedy to treat frizzy hair. Carbonated water contains low pH level, as it is made by using pressure to dissolve carbon dioxide gas in the water. Take one glass of carbonated water and add 1-2 spoons of lemon juice to it. Simply rinse your hair with this.
4. Coconut magic:
Coconut is rich in fatty acids and Vitamin B, which can help to keep your scalp hydrated and supple. Also, due to a large amount of iron and potassium, it can help to deal with frizzy hair easily. Take one cup of coconut milk and add 10-15 spoons of coconut oil to it. Mix together and apply on the roots. Make sure you cover your scalp and rinse off with lukewarm water after 30 minutes.
5. Papaya nourishing mask:
If your hair is super dry and you are also dealing with frizzy hair, consider using papaya nourishing mask at home. Papaya contains essential enzymes which help to keep your hair and scalp hydrated, nourished and strong. Take few pieces of papaya and mash them using a fork. Add one spoon of yogurt, one spoon of honey and one spoon of olive oil. Mix together and apply on the scalp. Wash off with lukewarm water after 40 minutes.
6. Egg and olive oil treatment:
Another popular remedy that can help to treat dry and frizzy hair is opting for egg and olive oil treatment. Olive oil is nourishing, while eggs provide enough amount of nutrients which can help to keep your hair hydrated, thus, preventing frizzy hair. Apply the mask on the hair and allow it to dry. Wait for at least 45 minutes and wash off with cold water.
7. Besan mask:
Using gram flour or besan is another easy and effective way to tame dry and frizzy hair. Besan helps to detoxify your scalp as it washes away the dirt and dust from the scalp. It also helps to keep your scalp hydrated by balancing the pH level. Take one bowl of besan and add some milk to it. Now add one spoon of coconut oil and honey to the mask. Apply on the scalp and wash off with lukewarm water after some time.
8. Citrus hair mask:
Using citrus fruits can help to restore the hydration and moisturization on the scalp. Take ten spoons of orange juice and add seven spoons of lemon juice to it. You can also add 1-2 drops of lavender essential oil it. Mix together and massage your scalp with this oil solution. Leave it for 24 hours and wash off with lukewarm water.
