I got this Faces CosmeticsĀ Eye Pencil in the shade navy blue. The pencil is in navy blue colour and has very very fine silver specks.
What I like about Faces Cosmetics Long Wear Eye Pencil
- It holds true to its claim of long wear . For about 6 hours the pencil stays as it is on my lids (without setting with an eye shadow) and after that it tends to fade . Even then the eye pencil does not face completely until you remove it with an oil based remover.
- The eye pencil is very soft. It glides on lids easily and does not tug or pull your lids at all.
- I like the shade navy blue. It’s a beautiful easy to wear shade for both day and night time.
- I don’t wear this eye pencil on my water line but overall, it has not caused any irritation to my eyes.
- You can softly smudge the pencil within a few seconds of applying , which I like.
- The eye pencil is quite pigmented and the colour shows on your lids easily.
- It does not smudge or smear once it sets.
- It gets removed easily with an oil based cleanser or olive oil.
- The pencil sharpens just fine without breaking.
The end and the cover of the pencil are in the same colour as the eye pencil shade. It makes the pencil easier to locate.
What I don’t like about the Faces Cosmetics Long Wear Eye Pencil ?
- I wish it didn’t start to fade even after 6 hours..

Here is how the navy blue eye pencil look on my eyes. this is just one swipe of colour. You can intensify it by applying more.
Overall, I am totally loving this eye pencil. This is for the first time I am using anything from faces Cosmetics and I am thoroughly impressed. I really don’t mind the fading part because the pencil is so light and easy to use that I can do touch up any moment. For people with oily lids, I suggest that you prep and prime your eyes to make your eye liners stay long. you can also set your eye liner with a co-ordinating eye shadow colour.
I am definitely going back for more shades.

noopur never used chambor pencils but those tattoo pencils are good only so you can pick and choose either i guess. :))

I like the shade and how it looks on your eyes :rose: though I’m not a fan of glitter particles in eye pencils. Didn’t know Faces products were so good..will give it a try!
ankita I am also not a huge fan of glitter particle but these are very non-obvious and not gritty at all. You wouldn’t even know that there is any glitter until you really stare your eyes. š

Pookhie, you know most eye pencils fail for girls who have oily lids. š Put a little primer . foundation/ concealer set it with a little powder and then apply the eyeliner. You cna also take grey eyeshadow and go over the eyeliner. It might work for you. :-*

Btw, today I did a little copy of the model in a book…..I am happy w the result….I did not line my upper lash line at all…just applied pink-shimmery eyeshadow all over eye-lid and then lots of masacara….and lined my lower lash line with dark blue eyeshadow and thin black eyeliner on lower waterline……looks fab! Not all over the top, yet can use colors to office/work! Yay! :jaiho: for introducing me to love of makeup…..

now is the time i get to check the site…..rati i have metallic brown from faces…i love the color and the smoothness..but it just does not stay more than couple of hrs…it like aadha adhura color stays which i need to remove with a remover…..but i love how lovely it glides on :)) your eyes are lookoinngggg loveely :-*
You know priya for some reason it stayed on my eyes for more than 6 hours.. Infact one for the days it was like quite hot during the day and i thought it would smudge and all but nothing happened..by evening it started to fade, which i dint like because I would have preferred it it would have stayed through out… :(( I think i’ll check the other shades as well. Sometimes pencils differ from shade to shade as well. š Thannkoo. :))

Its a very nice color Rati , looks very beautiful on your eyes :yes: . I have a problem sharpening these kinds of pencils, I have a Boujouis pencil, I have to sharpen it very carefully š
