Hey Pretty Ones!

Festive Eye Make Up Tutorial

With navaratra and durga puja round the corner, I am sure all of you must be on a shopping spree right now. Itโ€™s time to flaunt all those lovely traditional sarees and lehengas. Its also the time to indulge in party make up. So, here I am with another eye make up tutorial to help you draw everyoneโ€™s attention to your eyes! I have recently bought a few of those multi-purpose eye crayons in green, gold, purple and brown. These beauties can be used as an eyeliner as well as an eyeshadow. I used three of them in this tutorial. You can use your normal eye shadows for the same. So, let’s get started!

The products I have used are:

Step-By-Step Tutorial:

1. Prime your eyes with your concealer and primer. I have just dabbed compact powder all around the eye.

2. If your eyebrows are sparse like mine, fill them up with eyebrow powder or any dark shade eyeshadow. This is important as sparse eyebrows spoil the entire look. You may skip it if you have naturally thick eyebrows.

3. Take a lighter shimmery shade of eyeshadow and sweep it all below your eyebrow. I used the orange shade from my palette.

4. Take the golden crayon and sweep your brush over it and apply all over your eyelid.

5. Next, take the golden shade from the Lakme Eye Quartet and apply all over the lid again. This is to set the creamy eye crayon. You may skip this step if you have used a powder golden shadow in the last step.

6. Now, take the dark brown crayon and draw a line across the crease and extend it to a “V” outside.

7. Now, use a flat eye brush and blend inwards towards the eye. After that, take a lighter brown eyeshadow on a fluffy brush and blend the harsh line. I used the brown eye powder from VOV and since I do not have a fluffy brush, I use normal Camlin No. 4 brush for the same ๐Ÿ˜›

8. Now, take your eyeliner and draw a thin winged line on the upper lash line. We do not want a stark look and so we will keep the line as thin as possible. Pardon the broken line. My hands were shivering as I used liquid liner after quite some time.

9. Then, take the green crayon and line 3/4th of your lower lash line.

10. Finally, apply kajal on your lower lashline, curl your lashes and use the mascara.
