This is one product which I was actually compelled to review. You all will know why. I always had a love-hate relationship with my skin. As a teenager I was suffering from a bad case of acne, which later got cured but left a lot of marks. So I always keep looking out for products that are whitening, anti-blemish or anti-marks.
I picked up this product from BEAUTY CENTRE at Crawford Market (Mumbai). The SA was very insistent on this. I was reluctant still I ended up buying this because first the SA was insisting and second because it was at throw away price-just 150 bucks.
Packaging:
The product claims to be made in USA.
The packaging is quite tacky. The plastic that has been used for the jar is very thin & transparent. The lid is green in color. It also has a picture of some American model. :yikes:
Texture and Fragrance:
The mud mask is somewhat dirty white in color & thick in consistency, but not very creamy. It smells like a cross between toothpaste & mud. I actually don’t know how to explain this. :p
Ingredients:
The ingredient list is very long. But it claims to be a herbal formula.
What Hollywood Style Claims:
Our Whitening Mud Mask is an innovative formula that lightens skin pigmentation. This formula is blended with kojic acid to brighten complexion, glycolic acid to loosen dead cells, fairness actives to whiten and bring shine to dull skin, and kaolin to purify & tighten pores. With regular use skin will glow & look fairer and dark spots & acne scarring will be diminished. Great for professional procedures & suitable for all skin types (men and women).
MY Experience With Hollywood Style Facial Whitening Mud Mask:
I feel this is the first mask that holds true in all accounts of its claims. It is true for every word that it claims to do. After applying it just once you can notice the difference it makes to the skin. It also dries up acne, clears marks & tightened pores & plus gives a glow to the face.
My Tip:
Apply it at night before sleeping and don’t forget to moisturize after washing the pack. On application this pack gives a slight tingling sensation which means it’s working. 🙂
Pros of Hollywood Style Facial Whitening Mud Mask:
I really can go on & on about the pros of this product. It actually works. It’s like a magic potion in a tacky jar. 😉
Cons of Hollywood Style Facial Whitening Mud Mask:
The only con that I can think of is the availability of this product. In Mumbai I checked out but couldn’t find it anywhere else except BEAUTY CENTRE & it has parabens. But it delivers & that’s what matters.
I am in love with this mud mask. All those who have problems with acne or any type of scars should give this a try.

hehehe nice catch. but kojic acid if not in a good stable form its actualy harmful for skin… only few creams with kojic can b trusted
Ohhh..I was thinking this would be one dirty mask!! The ingredient list doesn’t look that scary either…but such an odd name and such cheapish looking packaging naaa..really is like you said magic potion in a tacky jar 😀 😀 😀 but well if it works for you that good 🙂
Am not sure…but I think think thinkkkk I have seen this particular brand in Bangalore..but I am not sure….that name Hollywood Style seems like I have seen somewhere 😐 😐

I have never heard this brand name !! Its name actually caught my attention, mud packs are great for oily skin, for we all dry skin we will have to mix honey or milk cream ! wonderful review!
Wow… I have oily skin with pimple scars and pores.. planning to go for derma roller. hmm lets use this before that.. i never use mosturizer. which brand is good when it comes to mosturizer for oily skin… thanks in advance.
