Today, I am back with a very important post because, this is what I am suffering with presently. I am 6 months pregnant and dealing with pigmentation issues. Well, it is nothing new. I used to get white patches on my skin often before pregnancy or even before marriage. Many dermatologists have said that it is because of some vitamin deficiency. I used to apply some face packs, and then within some weeks or maximum a month, they used to disappear. But of course, it’s not a good sight.

And thus, this time again I am suffering from the same. I have got two big white patches on both sides of my cheeks and this is quite evident. And of course, people would not stop asking you what it is, and will give you innumerable advices. But, this is what I did to get rid of skin pigmentation during pregnancy.

1. Apply Lemon

This is my oldest home based remedy to deal with any kind of pigmentation issues. Just cut a slice of lemon and rub it on your entire face and give it some time to settle down. Of course, it will cause a tingling sensation in the beginning, but after a while it will settle down. And, once your face dries up, rinse your face with water. You can try this every day once and within 1-2 weeks depending on the amount of pigmentation you can see the results.

2. Apply Honey

This is something which dry skin people like me can give a try. Apply raw honey on your entire face and let it sit for some good 15-20 minutes. I am a lazy bum and I keep it for 30 minutes and then simply wash off your face with water. This will not only soften and moisturize your skin, but with time adds a substantial glow to your face. And of course, it helps you to deal with skin pigmentation too. You can also try lemon + Honey, which I do on some days. Add 1-2 drops of honey on the lemon slice and then apply all over your face.

3. Apply Tomato Pulp

Just take a slice of tomato and then rub it all over your face. This can make your clothes dirty as the tomato tends to fall always. Give it some time to dry and after that rinse off your face with water. This will give you a beautiful rosy glow and works as an excellent home remedy for skin pigmentation.

4. Apply Besan

Gram flour or Besan

Besan is an another easy peasy secret ingredient which you can get easily at your kitchen. Just take 1-2 tablespoon of besan in a clean dry bowl. You can add some drops of gulab jal or even honey or even fresh lemon juice to the besan. Apply the mixture all over your face and give it some time to dry. After that rinse your face with water.

5. Multani Mitti

Another secret and most loved product of mine is multani mitti. I use it with gulab jal or honey or plain water some time and the effects are beautiful. You can see a beautiful glow instantly and with regular usage, you can see pigmentation and tan marks also diminishing.

6. Vitamin E Capsules

Vitamin E capsules are also highly effective in treating pigmentation on your skin. Just take a capsule and combine it with your night cream and spread it all over your face. For dry skin people like me, 1 capsule is too sticky. So, you can take the content of only half a capsule and keep the other half for the next day.

7. Ubtan

And, last but not the least, I highly trust on this ubtan as I have seen it completely taking care of my pigmentation issues. You can use Forest Essentials Narangi and Nagkesar Ubtan. I use it with yogurt and let it dry on my face. Not only it brought a beautiful glow from the very first usage, but it also reduced my white skin patches after some 15-20 days. In you find this ubtan a bit pricey, then you can also try Aroma Magic Anti-pigmentation Glossy Pack. I find this one also works equally well on pigmented skin.

The key to treating pigmentation or even dullness on any skin is to be consistent. You really need to do every day. Also, don’t try the same recipe every day as after a while, you will see that the skin has adapted to it and it has stopped delivering results. Thus, keep on trying something new every day. The above given are 7 different skin care recipes which I try every day. And, that is how you can see improvement in your skin. Pregnancy is the time when you cannot have too many medicines, and thus this homemade tips came to my rescue.
