Skin Type: Combination skin.
Today, I will be reviewing a product from an Australian brand called Intraceuticals. It combines medical and cosmetic science to develop high-quality skincare products. I came across this brand while on a trip to Australia. I chose a few products from their Rejuvenate collection. Read on to know how this Cleansing Gel fared for me.
Cleanse – Restore – Prime
A lightweight gel cleanser removes impurities, restoring the skins’ natural balance. Revive, Replenish and Protect with products from the Rejuvenate range.
My Experience with Intraceuticals Rejuvenate Cleansing Gel:
The packaging comes in a sleek and classy tube. The top is silver and the bottle is a shiny blue colour. The pump can be rotated up and down, which ensures that product spillage does not occur. Hence, it is travel-friendly. The product dispensed in one or two pumps is enough for the entire face and neck. The product comes out as a transparent gel. It is thick in consistency but, can be broken down easily. The fragrance reminds me of fresh peaches. It has a very calming fragrance which goes away after some time.
There were many collections to choose from – Opulence, for skin brightening, Clarity for uneven skin texture and Rejuvenate, which is the line I chose. The line that I decided to choose seemed to suit the harsh climate of India, as it is meant for maximising skin hydration and providing immediate improvements to the skin. It is meant to be used with other products from this line, to maximise the benefits. I will soon review those products as well.
This is the first step of cleansing by this line and is designed to remove all traces of makeup and dirt on the face. After taking out a pump or two on my palm, I rub them together to create lather. This product does not lather up much; the foam created is not very dense. On massaging this onto my face, I can see the makeup breaking down. It even helps to remove stubborn makeup around my eyes, such as waterproof mascara. It does not irritate my eyes, which is a plus. Even though it doesn’t lather much, my face feels squeaky clean upon drying. My face also seems fresh and bright after using the cleansing gel. I believe this would prove to be a gentle but effective cleanser for the double cleansing step. All in all, this cleanser worked really well for me.
Pros of Intraceuticals Rejuvenate Cleansing Gel:
- Classy packaging.
- Twist–up pump, travel-friendly.
- Contains very few ingredients, suitable for sensitive skin.
- Contains no parabens or animal derived ingredients.
- Effective in removing makeup.
- Has a brightening effect.
Cons of Intraceuticals Rejuvenate Cleansing Gel:
- Availability is an issue.
IMBB Rating: 4.5/5
Will I Recommend/Repurchase Intraceuticals Rejuvenate Cleansing Gel?
I would recommend this cleansing gel to those who have sensitive skin and can easily access this product. It is gentle enough for both dry and sensitive skinned people. I would repurchase this for its calming and gentle cleansing properties.
