My Experience with It Cosmetics No. 50 Serum Collagen Veil Anti-Aging Primer:
I can honestly claim that this is the best primer cum skin care item that I have used in a long time. I have only wonderful things to say about this product. This product has got me completely impressed.
Packaging:
The product comes in a tiny frosted bottle through which you can see the amount of product left in the bottle. It also comes with both a dropper provided and a pump dispenser attached with a travel safe cap which helps the pump not be pressed among your other products and creating a mess. It is so thoughtful of the company to give you both options of dispensing the product. I myself like the pump dispenser more and have taken it with me on travel without any issues of breakage or leaking. The product provided is just 1 oz and the bottle is very lightweight. It’s regular price is on the more expensive side, but only a tiny amount equivalent to one pump is enough to spread over the whole face.
Texture/Consistency:
The pearly white liquid feels so smooth when applied to the skin. It spreads effortlessly and takes a minute to get absorbed into the skin completely, after which it gives the skin a nice semi matte finish and does not impart any greasiness or shine. My skin feels so silky smooth after I give this a minute to sink into my skin before applying makeup which spreads so smoothly on the smooth canvas of my skin created with this product.
This product also feels very moisturizing but it still feels like you have applied nothing on the skin. Being blessed with dry skin, I find it so impressive that I do not need a moisturizer when I use this product. I do feel it makes my pores disappear and even the little bit of lines on my skin do not seem prominent. It also does increase the longevity of my makeup and makes it look freshly applied for hours and does not make the makeup cling to my dry areas and crease. It does have a huge list of ingredients, which claims to contain hydrating anti-aging peptides, collagen, niacin, essential lipid-rich oils, vitamins, extracts and botanicals. It is also claimed that this product can be use in your night time skin care routine. I do not use this product in that way as I feel that that will finish it faster and I do like its function more as a primer.
Fragrance:
It has a very pleasant fruity-citrusy fragrance which is not overwhelming and lingers very faintly on the skin for a little while before disappearing.

- Creates a smooth silky canvas of skin when applied as a primer.
- Does not leave a greasy slippery residue on skin. Gets absorbed fully and does not feel like you have applied anything.
- Has a pleasant, not too overpowering fruity scent.
- Does make my pores and fine lines seem reduced.
- Has a huge list of beneficial ingredients.
- I do not need to use moisturizer when I use this.
- Can be used all year long.
- Increased longevity of makeup and helps it stay looking fresh, does not crease or slide all day.
- Does seem to make my skin look better and feel softer in the long run too.
Cons of It Cosmetics No. 50 Serum Collagen Veil Anti-Aging Primer:
- Expensive if no discounts are available on the product.
- 1 oz is less amount provided at the price, even though very little product is required for one use.
- No SPF.
