My experience with Colorbar Perfect Match Primer :

I wanted to try this new primer from Colorbar since the day I came to know about it, but I wasn’t sure if I should get this because it wasn’t reviewed. I remained in dilemma for a long time but finally my control was lost in front of my greed and here I am with this primer.

This primer comes in an inverted, sleek white bottle with a nozzle. The packaging is quite attractive, light weight and perfect for travel purposes. I couldn’t have asked for a better packaging.

This primer is in the form of a transparent gel which gets blended and absorbed on my skin very easily. I love the way it makes my skin super soft and smooth. Though I don’t see any major difference in my skin texture immediately after applying it, it definitely smoothens out the fine lines and uneven texture and gives a glow to my face after sometime. I have L’Oreal base Magique Transforming smooth primer and in terms of results, I don’t think there’s any difference between the two.

The quantity required for a single application is quite less and it will easily last for a long time. It doesn’t hide my acne scars but tones them out a little. It also tones down the redness of acne. I generally apply this primer 5-7 minutes after applying my moisturizer and then follow it with powder. I love the freshness and glow it gives to my face.

I have applied it beneath my foundation too and the results have been good. The foundation glides on very easily on this primer and lasts for a longer time. It also decreases the oil secretion on my T-zone. Even when applied alone, this primer lasts for quite a long time, for instance I applied it at about five in the evening and right now it’s one and it’s still there on my face.

Overall, I would say it is a good primer, nothing extra ordinary than the other primers available in this range but nothing less too.

I have applied this primer on my hand here:

Pros of Colorbar Perfect Match Primer:

  • Spreads and gets absorbed very easily on my face.
  • Tones down redness of acne and acne scars.
  • Smoothens out the uneven texture and hides the pores and fine lines.
  • Gives a glow to face.
  • Long lasting power.
  • Decreases oiliness in my t zone.
  • Increases the staying power of foundation.
  • Didn’t break me out.

Cons of Colorbar Perfect Match Primer:

I didn’t find any.

4/5
