My Experience with KleanColor 02 Pink Femme Lipstick:
The packaging of the lipstick is average. The lipstick tube has a curvy shape, but it looks flimsy. The only thing that I like about this lipstick packaging is its color-coded body because it helps to spot the shade easily from the makeup stash. The cap fits tightly and does not come off while carrying around. The tip of the lipstick bullet remains outside the tube, so I need to be a little careful while closing the cap else it will damage the bullet. One more thing which I do not like about the packaging of all the Kleancolor lipsticks is, the lipstick bullet gets detached from the base and sticks to the cap. As I bought the entire collection online, almost every lipstick had the same problem.
The shade “Pink” is a bright cool-toned pink color with a slight touch of lilac to it. The lipstick contains chunky silver glitters, which give it a frosty finish. Personally, I don’t prefer wearing glittery lipsticks. As I had bought the entire collection online, I was not exactly aware of the shades. I do not prefer wearing a frosty lip color also. This lipstick has a sheer pigmentation. It takes two-three swipes to build up the color properly on the lips. Also, the lipstick does not feel heavy upon layering. It has a very mild candy fragrance that is totally non-bothersome.
The texture of the lipstick is nice. It is smooth but not very creamy. Despite the presence of so many glitters, the lipstick does not feel gritty in texture. It glides effortlessly on the lips without any tugging or pulling. The formula is lightweight and feels comfortable on the lips. The lipstick does not feel heavy or sticky on the lips. The lipstick is not at all moisturising, so my lips start feeling dry after some time. Hence, it is necessary to keep your lips moisturised and hydrated.
There are no smudging issues with this lipstick, but being a crème lip colour, it has the tendency to transfer crazily. The color clings onto the dry patches on the lips, so it is necessary to exfoliate and moisturise the lips properly. Once the color fades away, the shimmers are left behind, which looks chunky on the lips. The staying power of the lipstick is poor. It stays for around 3-4 hours on my lips after which it starts fading from the center. Also, it leaves a layer of chunky glitters on the lips. This lipstick is easy to wipe off with a regular makeup remover wipe.
