Cleans and softens skin: Dry and sensitive skin.
My sweet elder sister sent it for me from Oz :cute: She must have bought three of these (no, we don’t share the same passion for hoarding makeup :nono: ) and she had asked me which one I wanted. I don’t remember the others, but I think there was an orange and then this one, which said “dry and sensitive skin.” I don’t have dry skin, but still, I chose the sensitive version as this was my first L’Oreal face wash and boy am I glad!
I had never ever heard about this one before and sis had explained the unique concept to me. For me, scrubbing initially meant those hard granular stupid apricot scrubs. Then, I moved to the very mild one from Neutrogena and Everyuth and then St. Ives, and now I think my definition of scrubbing has changed, forever. Remember, I have oily skin whichi is acne prone and I have had a history of acne due an infection and a severe break out. Now, I keep tab on what I use and I use a salicylic-acid based lotion which is working wonders for me since a year and now I have been using the CleanPad for scrubbing with this face wash or any other, but I don’t forget the CleanPad ever.
Doesn’t this remind you of the Neutrogena Clean Pad and that vibrating face cleaning one with the soapy cotton pads (I forgot the name, but I do have it courtesy my sis and then it is there on IMBB too). The concept for that is also unique and for this one also. It is basically a regular face wash with a soft rubbery pad with very nice gentle bristles, which actually does a great job not only to lather up the face wash, but also to scrub clean the face without actually feeling you have scrubbed your face up with some harsh granules and also without having to deal with an extra step of scrubbing.
The face wash is a creamy one for this variant which lathers up minimum and doesn’t get all drying. In fact, I love the face wash too as its very moisturizing and even my oily skin loves it so much. It works wonders with the pad and I usually go very little with it and it does the job.
The pad that comes along is a rubbery one, I don’t know what to compare it with, but it feels very “scrubby” as in you know that all the grime and grease is coming off with your face wash and yet you know you are not harming the surface cells and regeneration process of the cells with this scrubbing action.
What I totally love about it is that after I clean makeup and use this with this face wash or any other, it leaves skin squeaky clean and I know that my pores are cleaner. Now, the situation is such that whatever I use in terms of face wash, I now need the CleanPad no matter what.
Last Word on L’Oreal Paris Perfect Clean Foaming Cream + CleanPad:
I can’t believe I had been living without this CleanPad for the entire teenage and remaining years of my life. Now, no matter what, I will hold on to it and use it with my regular face washes. I never tried using it with cleansing creams, but you can. Also, I love the gentle and moisturising face wash too.
4.8 on 5, seriously recommended for the CleanPad!
