Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lipstick Cranberry Review

I have always been fascinated with the beautiful red lips of models and actors on TV and movies, so finally, for my college party, I decided to try out a red lipstick 😀 and this is my first lipstick purchase ever! (I am more of a gloss person!!)

My Experience with Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lipstick – Cranberry:
This is a bright red shade with dominant pink undertones. Under some lights, it might even appear bright fuchsia. Â The lipstick stays on for around a couple of hours, after which I need to do touch-ups, and it is transferable. So, you might end up leaving lipstick stains on glasses and cups after a drink which is a little embarrassing.
For prolonging the staying power, apply one coat, then dust some loose powder over it, and then apply another coat. Also, you can wear a lip liner underneath.
It is quite opaque, so it shouldn’t be a problem for people with pigmented lips either.
Pros:
- It’s very moisturizing.
- The packaging is pretty and sturdy.
- It’s quite inexpensive.
- Nicely pigmented, one layer is enough.
Cons:
- Staying power isn’t much, around a couple of hours.
- Smudges easily.
- Prone to the notorious fungal attacks!

Another shade perhaps. With so many lipstick and gloss reviews coming up every other day, I am tempted to try other brands too.

mmm i keep them in the fridge
none of them have been damaged yet honestly
its been 6 months plus for some
but if they do, then without a single effort to salvage them they will be dropped in the bin!
and never again will i buy maybelline moisture extreme if they catch fungus

it used to be my fav range once upon a time. my mom also used to love these lipsticks. I like this shade of red. very soft and understated. Look nice. :))
