I love trying out different variants of lip balms and in my quest to find the perfect one, I picked up one of Montagne Jeunesse lip balms. It is a non-petroleum lip balm stick, which comes in cute twist-up tubes. They have a lot of variants like:
– Sore Lips (with shea butter and mango).
– Chocolate Balm (with belgian chocolate and cherries).
– Healing Balm (with mint leaves and carrot oil).
– Weather Screen (with wheatgerm and shea butter).
– Cracked Lips (with cranberry and aloe vera).
I chose the Weather Screen one.

My Take on Montagne Jeunesse Weather Screen Lip Balm:
I like the packaging and the fact that it claims to be 99.5% natural. That was the biggest factor that attracted me. There is no petroleum jelly in it. The balm is pale cream in colour with a cocoa butter scent. It may be a tad bit dominating for some, but I liked it. The smell doesn’t last for very long though. It is smooth and glides softly on your lips upon application. It gets absorbed well and leaves the lips soft, but nothing very different about it from the other lip balms out there. I have used it while out travelling for 2 weeks. It kept my lips moisturised and soft even though I was out in the sun for most of the day. The balm doesn’t have any SPF, so I am not sure which ingredient in it provides the “weather screening”.
I will give it 3.5 out of 5. I may not buy this again because I would like to try the other variants on offer by Montagne, especially the chocolate one.
