Packaging:
The small cylindrical tub is similar to that of many other products by the brand. It comes packaged in a golden-yellow and green cardboard box which houses all the details. Also, the tub has the details printed on the body. The screw on cap closes tightly, has an additional safety lid, and is convenient for carrying around.

My Experience with Nature’s Essence Sun Ban Sunscreen Cream SPF 20:

packaging

The off-white colored cream is of moderate consistency. It has a slightly herbal smell but that is not overpowering or bothersome. It spreads easily on skin, forming a layer on the skin. It doesn’t feel heavy or greasy, and imparts a matte look. However, it has a whitish cast and on touching you get a slightly tacky feeling. It is not completely absorbed for a long time. So, though your skin feels smooth, even and soft, you can also get the distinct feel of the cream on your skin.

tub packaging

It is only after two hours that the cream manages to settle down on your skin and the whitish cast is gone. It makes your skin look really smooth and evens out the texture. If you like wearing foundation or a medium coverage BB cream, you can layer it on this without any greasiness. In fact, it works best that way and manages to nullify the whitish cast problem. It has SPF 20 which will prevent tanning and sun damage.

consistency

It hasn’t caused any breakouts on my sensitive skin nor did it add extra oiliness. If the whitish cast wasn’t there, I would have definitely rated it higher. Ladies with normal skin will like it most for the supple and even skin it provides combined with the decent sun protection. Also, it serves as a base for further makeup. The flipside is that sweating or contact with water badly breaks down the cream, and you can see white streaks. I wish Nature’s Essence works a bit more on these aspects as I would love to try out more of their affordable products.
