Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain – Darling, Rendezvous, Crush

Helloo everyone!!

I’m back with review of my favouriteeee product. I just can’t resist talking about these awesome colors!!!!!! I saw these when I was in US and fell in love with them. They look yummilicious!!!!!!!!!! I just bought 3 shades and was regretting my decision as I should have bought all!!
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stain Rendevouz Darling Crush(3)

They resemble color crayons. Colors vary from nude shades, light pink to darker shades. I bought it from Ulta, where there was an offer ‘One free on purchase of two’ which was an awesome deal. I had a hard time choosing colors. I loved them all 12 colors. So finally I bought Rendezvous, Darling and Crush.
It was a dream come true when I saw them in India in shoppers stop though only 10 shades out of 12 are available!!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stain Rendevouz Darling Crush(4)

INR 600 (2.7 gms). However, I bought 3 of them in USA for $16 i.e. approx INR 900. It’s just half of the price in India.

My Experience with Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain – Darling, Rendezvous, Crush:

I don’t like putting lipstick much because half the time I end up eating it and most of the time it dries out on my lips leaving chunks. So I usually use tinted lip balms to get some color. But this was a great in-between product. It never ever dry my lips, super moisturizing and gives awesome color.

Darker the color, longer it lasts and stains your lips. There is a mild minty taste which feels refreshing but doesn’t last long. They are so smooth and glide on my lips effortlessly. To get every day look can just swipe it once and for party look you can apply more.

My favorite color out of 3 is Darling. It’s a pink shade similar to cherish but with a purple tint to it and gives a very soft look. It goes with everything. The only problem I face is since my lips are pigmented and are naturally pink it doesn’t stain my lips like other darker shades.

Rendezvous is a peachy red coral shade like a tangerine and looks awesome in summers. Since it’s a darker shade it leaves a nice tint. It looks great on all skin tones.

Crush is gorgeous berry or plum color and gives a rich look. It stains my lips most and gradually changes color from berry to wine and then to hint of red. They all last whole day, even after I had my food and water. You just have to re-apply to refresh the look.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stain Rendevouz Darling Crush(2)

Pros of Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain – Daring, Rendezvous, Crush:

1. Very moisturizing and lips looks supple.
2. It’s now available in India.
3. It’s easy to carry in handbags and clutch.
4. Packaging is sturdy cute crayons.
5. No funky smell and taste good.
6. Glides effortlessly on lips and colors are easy to build.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stain Rendevouz Darling Crush(6)

Cons of Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain – Darling, Rendezvous, Crush:

1. Since it has recently been introduced in India, it’s little expensive.
2. Precious and charm shades are not available in India. But I’m sure they’ll be introduced soon.

Apart from these, I can’t find any other cons.

I LOVEEE them and prefer them over lipstick and lip balms. So I will definitely buy other shades and recommend it to others!!!!!!!!! Please do try it!!

I have this in Adore and while I love the formula the shade looks pretty icky on me. Crush and Rendezvous looked interesting, but now that I’ve seen your review I’m getting them for sure 😀

Devie February 26, 2013 at 10:22 pm

and, oh, for those of you who love Clinique’s Chubby Sticks, these are a great (cheaper + longer lasting color) alternative to them! 🙂

Thanks Devie!! I agree about Clinique chubby sticks. I have tried them but they aren’t as good as this. Do get these!! 🙂
