Soft Pink Spring Eye Makeup Tutorial

Hi Girls!

Although, I have done quite a few eye makeup tutorials in the past, but this one is special for me for some reason, curious? You will get to know the reason at the end of this post , don’t scroll down please! Enjoy the tutorial first 🙂 I have been doing eye makeup posts using various colors of eye shadows – green, blue, purple and what not! But, as we all know, not all of us are comfortable using those colors. So, today’s post is going to be for each and every one of you as this is a very subtle look which will suit anyone.  Let’s get on with the look.

Products Used:

Eye Makeup Products

1. Garnier BB cream( sorry! Forgot to include that in the pic).

2. VOV make up kit.

3. Pink and beige eye shadows from a random palette.

4. Maybelline hypercurl mascara.

5. VOV eyebrow powder set.

6. Davies eye pencil in brown.

7. Vega and camlin brushes.

Step-By-Step Tutorial:

Step 1:

Moisturize the area surrounding your eyes very well and apply your primer (BB cream in my case).

Step 2:

Blend properly and then fill your eyebrows using a dark brown eye shadow. This step is very important as groomed eye brows will be the focus in this look. Subtle eye makeup looks best only when eyebrows are groomed.

Step 3:

Take a pearly silver eye shadow and apply using a dab-dab motion under your eyebrow bone.

Now, take an orange-beige eye shadow and apply just above the crease, just under the silver color layer.

Using index finger, blend both the shadows together. This would lessen the harshness of the lines and you will have a nice glow beneath your eye brow bone. The beige eye shadow was just to act as a gradient between the silver and your skin color.

Step 6:

Now, take a pearly pink eyeshadow and apply on 2/3rds of the upper eyelid

Take a matte orange-beige and apply on the outer 1/3rd of the eyelid and blend well with the pink eye shadow.  Move the same brush to and fro on the crease.

Step 8:

Take the same orange-beige on a flat brush and apply on the inner 1/3rd of the lower lash line.

Step 9:

Now, use your favourite brown eye pencil and draw a wing on the outer part of the upper lash line. Extend the line inwards but not until the innermost corner.

Step 10:

Line the outer 1/3rd of the lower lashline with the brown pencil as well. We will skip kajal because we want a fresh look.

Step 11:

Add a single coat of mascara.

And you are done! It should look like this!
