After sharing my views on The Face Shop Jeju Volcanic Pore Cleansing Foam, I am moving to the pore scrub foam from the same range. Both the cleansers are quite similar in usage and results. But there are some differences. Let’s get into the details.

How To Use:
Dispense an adequate amount and lather fully with water. Massage gently onto the face and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
My Experience With The Face Shop Jeju Volcanic Lava Pore Scrub Foam:
Packaging:
The packaging is completely identical to the pore cleansing foam from the same range. This pore scrub foam comes in an earthy-coloured inverted tube with a flip top. The flip top opens with a little pressure and closes with a click preventing any spillage; hence it is travel-friendly. When I got this pore scrub foam, the tube was wrapped in plastic and sealed to prevent it from tampering. The name of the product is written in the front of the tube and all the other information is provided at the back of the tube in both Korean and English.
Texture and Fragrance:
This pore scrub foam is quite thick and creamy in consistency. There are no chances at all of getting the product out of the tube without squeezing it. It has shining peachy-pearly, almost nude colour to it. The texture feels a bit gritty because of the silica particles present in the pore scrub foam for exfoliation. These particles are very tiny and quite gentle on the skin, making it perfect for daily use as a cleanser. These are not easily visible until you focus on them, but definitely can be felt. There is completely no abrasion on the skin.Some may not like how mild it is, but it is completely one’s choice.When comes in contact with water, it foams up very well.
The fragrance is kind of citrusy and herbal, maybe because of all the extracts and oils present in it. It is mild, subtle and pleasant. Though it is a personal preference, I definitely like the fragrance.
Usage/Result:
I have been using this cleansing foam for 2 weeks. I keep switching it with the other cleansing foam from the same range.
For the amount needed to cleanse the face, I use a pea size only. Pea size amount of the scrub foam is more than enough for thorough cleansing. And, with this much amount needed, it will last you for quite a few months. A little amount lathers up pretty well and feels luxurious. After lathering up, I massage gently over the face and neck for a minute to let the volcanic particles do their work. The scrub particles not at all feel abrasive. In fact, it feels very nice while massaging the skin. Then, I rinse off with normal water. Though it is mentioned to rinse with lukewarm water, I don’t. There is only one reason why I don’t use lukewarm water; it puts me off to wait for anything and it is quite a work for me to switch on the geyser and wait for the lukewarm water to wash off my face. Even with the normal water, the scrub foam gets rinsed off easily.
Post rinsing, the skin is much clearer and softer at the same time. It does not strip off the moisture or make the skin dry and flaky. However, for extremely dry skin, I don’t think this one is good. It makes my skin get rid of every bit of dirt, sebum and impurities effectively. If I use it in the morning, it keeps my oily nose shine-free throughout the day. I have also noticed less formation of whiteheads over the nose. Though, it prevents the formation of whiteheads but is not effective in removing the existing ones as the scrub particles are very gentle. It deeply cleanses the skin and purifies the pores.
It smoothens out the open pores around nose area instantly and makes them disappear, but the result is temporary. However, this scrub foam has reduced the visibility of pores to an extent as well. Though the pores do not vanish completely, they are not prominent now. It exfoliates the dry patches and reduces the flakiness also. It is effective in removing the traces of light make-up, but make sure to not use this cleansing foam anywhere near the eye area. It is clearly mentioned in the information provided on the tube. This scrub foam is perfect for all skin types except very dry skin.

I have purchased both the facial foams from this range and they will last me for so long that I can’t even begin to imagine. So, I may or may not repurchase it. However, I would definitely recommend you to try it out.
