Last month I picked up a lot of The Face Shop masks but could not try these black packaging variants. I noticed that these variants have some interesting ingredients, hence got excited to give these a try. So I have recently started using this new range and just love it. Today I am going to share my views about The Face Shop Real Nature Longan Face Mask.

My Experience with The Face Shop Real Nature Longan Face Mask:

The face mask comes in a nice plastic pouch that’s black colored and has a wooden finish. It also has some longans printed over it. The packaging is hygienic and all the details are printed on the packaging. The pouch contains only one sheet mask. The sheet is nicely folded inside the packaging. I don’t know what longan is! And I have no idea about its benefit, but it belongs to the lychee family. Hence, it has a very sweet scent that feels very good.

This sheet mask was fully dipped in a plain white moisturizing slippery gel that glided smoothly and felt very light on the skin. I think the quantity was enough to cover up my whole face and still there was some extra in the pouch; I used this extra serum after removing the mask as a massage gel. The gel felt super smooth and silky in consistency. It was a normal plain white mask that didn’t leave any stain on my face. The size of the sheet was good but it was a little big for me and didn’t really fit my oval face well.

I kept the mask on for around 20 minutes and then massaged the gel for around 5 minutes. After that, I rinsed it off. The sheet was full of moisturizer and started to penetrate my skin within minutes. I didn’t feel dry on the skin and was easy to peel off. My skin felt soft and moisturised after the removed the mask from my face. The slippery gel provided my skin with the desired amount of hydration and made it look fresher.

I have oily skin but it looks dull and dry during winters. This mask hides all my dry patches and makes skin super soft and smooth. The mask also acted like a nice nourishing face mask but never made my skin look or feel oily. It never irritated my skin either. It, in fact, revitalised my dull skin, just like it claimed. This dry weather reduces the natural glow of the face but this mask brought this glow back and made my tired skin appear better. The mask instantly provided a fresh, youthful glow. My skin felt baby soft and glowy after using this mask. This mask is good for all skin types and for all seasons.

The effects of this mask stayed on for around 2 days. Also, my skin remained soft for a good time period. After this time, my skin required reapplication. This was a normal sheet mask. The brand claims that this mask doesn’t have any parabens, but it has alcohol, which is definitely not good for the skin, especially for sensitive skin. Yet this mask didn’t break me out. Overall, I really liked this sheet mask and it is perfect for travel time or for times when you desire instant smoothness.
