My Experience :

I have been dying to share this product with you guys but I wanted to give it a full 4 week run before reviewing it. :D

I started using Clarins Double Serum almost a month back. It is a very soothing anti ageing serum and I love it. It is a light weight honey coloured serum that need to be warmed up between the palms and patted on the skin. The serum needs to be applied after the toner and before the moisturizer.

To give you a little info about my skin, I have pretty decent skin to start with. I have normal to dry skin and since I am 25+ I use anti-ageing products.

I use this serum every other night. I use 2-3 pumps of it and apply it on my face. It soaks up within seconds in my skin. Delhi is having the harshest of winters this year plus the blowers add up to the dry air. I wake up with soft and supple skin every morning when I use this serum at night. My pores look smaller and skin looks softer. And I haven’t experienced a single dry patch on my skin this winters. I don’t have any major fine lines as such so for me this is more of a prevention product than a cure product. It has a mild lovely fragrance that totally calms my senses. The serum has an oil like consistency but it is not one of those heavy  greasy oils that clogs your pores. It is very light and rather soothing on the skin.

It is an expensive product but a little goes a long way. After one month of usage, I have not finished up even one fourth of the bottle.

The serum is packed in a sturdy plastic pump bottle. I even carried this bottle on my Goa trip and I have had no issues carrying it.

This serum is a part of my skin care routine. It helps in keeping my skin hydrated and nourished for the most part. I also used it in Goa at night to see how it worked in the summery weather. It was fine. It made my skin look great even then. :D

I have used some expensive anti ageing products in past also because of the strong formulations , they have broken me out. This has only worked at making my skin better. I didn’t have a single break out from the day I started using it.

I wouldn’t recommend this for those with oily skin. But those who have normal to dry skin and are looking for a good anti ageing product, do give this a try. I guess you can pick up samples of this from the Clarins counters. :)

Rati, First of all thanks for sharing this post. I was a little skeptical about how to use gels based serum on my skin. This seems a pretty detailed and valuable review. I have an extreme dry skin and this seems to be doing wonders on juiceless skin <3 its expensive but its clarins so goes without saying

I bought the clarins peeling softening lotion from express avenue in Chennai four months back.I started it and it showed no visible Effect on my skin.when I checked the cosmetic calculator it was manufactured in 2008. The
Product had expired long back.I want to use clarins products but the past episode makes me wary :-(

I’m in love with this Gold Double serum from Clarins! I have a lot open pores on my face & this product works like magic! It keeps my skin hydrated all day long. This product and a moisturizer is MUST for me this winter! Applying make up on top becomes much easier too….!

Quick Take: lightweight, hydrating, immediate short-term results!
I use the Clarins Xtra Firming Eye Cream at night and it works great. I wake up looking rested and I believe it has helped diminish the appearance of the fine lines around my eye area. It’s hydrating but absorbs quickly and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin.

Clarins White Plus range is completely wonderful and is my skin’s best friend. I have seen the difference on myself after using Clarins White Plus. I want to thank Clarins for coming up with this new range.

I came across Clarins advertisements on Facebook and started following them since then. I was super excited about their new product ‘White Plus Total Luminescent’ and finally I decided to order it. I can’t believe I lived this long without it — my skin is unbelievable now. The luminous effect that it gives to the skin is fantastic. They are my favourite. 
